To guarantee that an estate is managed in accordance with the estate owner's intentions, this role demands a high degree of responsibility. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed • Consult clients about your plans for distributing their assets • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Prepare wills, trusts, and power of attorney documents Qualifications: • Experience at a legal firm working on estate planning and probate law issues for at least 1-2 years is required • Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association) • 4-year degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are necessary for this position Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly
