As we execute our eastern expansion strategy, we are seeking a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to champion the Cimarron brand across the eastern United States and eastern Canada.
The Territory Sales Representative — Eastern Region is a remote, outside sales role responsible for growing Cimarron Trailers' dealer network and driving wholesale revenue across a defined geography east of the Mississippi River to eastern Canada. The successful candidate will inherit and manage a foundation of 12 existing dealer accounts while aggressively prospecting for new dealer partners. This role requires strong business development instincts, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to build lasting relationships within the agricultural, equine, and ranching communities.

Expand the eastern dealer network from the current 12 accounts to a defined growth target
through active prospecting, qualification, and onboarding of new dealer partners.

Manage, support, and grow existing dealer relationships to maximize sell-through performance
and dealer satisfaction.
•
Become the go-to Cimarron resource for eastern dealers — providing product training, sales
support, and market intelligence.
•
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual territory sales targets.
•
Establish Cimarron Trailers as the preferred brand in the eastern livestock and horse trailer
segment.
Dealer Development & Prospecting
•
Identify, qualify, and recruit new dealership partners across the eastern U.S. and eastern
Canada.
•
Conduct in-person dealership visits to present the Cimarron product line, brand story, and
dealer program benefits.
•
Negotiate dealer agreements in partnership with sales leadership.
•
Coordinate new dealer onboarding, including product training and initial inventory planning.
Existing Account Management
•
Serve as the primary point of contact for all current eastern territory dealer accounts.
•
Conduct regular business reviews with dealers to assess performance, identify opportunities,
and resolve challenges.
•
Support dealers with co-op marketing programs, sales events, trade shows, and local
promotions.
•
Monitor dealer inventory levels and assist with inventory planning and ordering.
Sales Execution
•
Drive wholesale purchase orders from dealer accounts to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual
revenue goals.
•
Maintain a disciplined pipeline using CRM tools (activity logging, opportunity tracking,
forecasting).
•
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and competitive comparisons.
•
Attend regional trade shows, livestock events, rodeos, and equine expos to build brand
presence and generate leads.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
•
Track competitor activity, pricing, and product developments across the territory.
•
Provide regular territory reports to sales leadership including pipeline status, dealer
performance, and market trends.
•
Relay customer and dealer feedback to the product and marketing teams to inform future
development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
•
Minimum 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in agricultural equipment,
trailers, powersports, RV, or related industries.
•
Demonstrated success in dealer/distributor channel sales and new account development.
•
Strong ability to build rapport and trust with dealers, ranchers, and equine professionals.
•
Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of managing a large geographic territory independently.
•
Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travel, across a multistate/provincial territory.
•
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred
•
Background in or personal passion for horses, livestock, ranching, or the equine industry.
•
Existing relationships with trailer dealers, feed stores, livestock auction houses, or equine
retailers in the eastern U.S. or Canada.
•
Experience selling into Canadian markets, including familiarity with cross-border logistics and
regulations.
•
Knowledge of trailer construction, towing, and trailer-related regulations.
