They will act as a trusted technical advisor to maintenance and reliability professionals, conducting onsite evaluations and demonstrations to showcase the value of the company's technology.

Location: United States - Remote (field-based; approximately 50-75% travel)
Preferred Location: Gulf Coast Region – Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama
Reports To: Director of Sales - North America & Europe
Compensation: $90,000 - $130,000 USD annual base salary plus target incentive

Who We Are
We are looking for a driven, technically minded professional to take ownership of UE Systems' Gulf Coast sales territory, develop new business, and help industrial organizations improve the reliability, efficiency, and safety of their operations.

This is an opportunity to combine your technical knowledge with consultative sales, customer relationships, and territory growth. You will have the independence to build your sales pipeline, win new customers, grow existing accounts, and introduce innovative ultrasound solutions while becoming a trusted advisor to maintenance and reliability professionals across the region.

You do not need a traditional sales background to succeed in this role. We welcome professionals whose experience is primarily in industrial maintenance, reliability, predictive maintenance (PdM), field applications, technical training, or technical service. If you can earn trust on the plant floor, explain technical findings clearly, and are motivated to develop new business and build customer relationships, UE Systems will provide the sales training, product knowledge, tools, and ongoing support to help you confidently manage the sales process and succeed in growing your territory.

Ideally, this position will be based in Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama to effectively support our Gulf Coast territory.

Our People
They Own Their Day:
We do not micro-manage. Our team understands the outcome, makes disciplined decisions, and communicates early when priorities, risks, or constraints change.

They Believe in a Team Approach: No one is expected to be a master of everything. We rely on each other, bring different strengths to the table, and build better systems together.

They Always Look Through a Customer Lens: Every process we build should make it easier to serve the customer accurately, reliably, and on time.

Your Impact

  • Take ownership of the Gulf Coast sales territory, developing and executing a territory plan to grow revenue, win new customers, and expand existing accounts.
  • Proactively prospect for new business, identify opportunities across industrial markets, and reconnect with inactive or underdeveloped accounts to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Build relationships with maintenance, reliability, operations, engineering, and business leaders to understand their challenges, identify opportunities, and become a trusted technical advisor.
  • Introduce customers to UE Systems' ultrasound solutions, including hardware, software, training, and services, and demonstrate how they can improve uptime, safety, energy efficiency, and asset performance.
  • Lead customer discovery, onsite evaluations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements that showcase the practical benefits of our technology and move sales opportunities forward.
  • Translate technical challenges into practical solutions and business cases that demonstrate measurable value through reduced downtime, improved lubrication practices, energy savings, and safer inspections.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through proposals, negotiation, and closing, with support from Sales Leadership and internal teams.
  • Maintain an organized territory plan and accurate sales pipeline, including customer activity, opportunity values, next steps, close dates, and revenue forecasts using HubSpot or the designated CRM platform.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships across customer organizations, from plant-floor technicians and reliability engineers to maintenance leaders, plant managers, procurement teams, and executive decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Training, Inside Sales, Operations, and technical specialists to support customer needs, deliver a positive customer experience, and identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Represent UE Systems at customer sites, industry events, workshops, and professional associations while gathering customer feedback and market insights to help strengthen our solutions and market presence.
  • Follow customer-site safety requirements, PPE standards, and UE Systems policies while maintaining a professional, solutions-first approach.
  • Travel regularly throughout the territory, with approximately 50–75% travel depending on customer demand and territory development needs.
Your Experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting, servicing, or leading maintenance, reliability, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or related plant operations within manufacturing or another asset-intensive environment.
  • Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices, condition-based monitoring, rotating equipment, and common industrial failure modes.
  • Experience with reliability or condition-monitoring technologies such as ultrasound, vibration analysis, infrared thermography, oil analysis, motor testing, or precision alignment.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and translate reliability opportunities into practical operational and financial value for plant-floor, management, and executive audiences.
  • Experience regularly traveling to customer sites in a field-based technical, service, training, or customer-facing role, with the ability and willingness to travel 50–75% in this position.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory while meeting customer-site safety and access requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in industrial B2B sales, technical sales, consultative selling, field applications, customer training, or other customer-facing technical roles.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery, technical demonstrations, presentations, or product and application training in industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with commercial activities such as account planning, opportunity qualification, CRM management, pipeline development, and forecasting.
  • Experience working with manufacturing, utilities, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, pulp and paper, or other asset-intensive industries.
  • Ultrasound Level I or II certification, CMRP, CRL, or relevant certification in vibration analysis, infrared thermography, lubrication, motor testing, or precision maintenance.
  • Practical experience applying reliability methods such as asset criticality, root-cause analysis, FMEA, Pareto analysis, defect elimination, or failure-elimination planning.
  • Established relationships within the Gulf Coast industrial maintenance, reliability, or manufacturing community.
  • Experience using HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or a comparable CRM platform.
