Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities and generate qualified sales leads within an assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Schedule and conduct customer visits, sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations.
Manage the sales process from prospecting through closing new business opportunities.
Achieve sales growth objectives and profitability goals for assigned accounts and territories.
Identify customer needs and recommend solutions that improve productivity, quality, and performance.
Provide technical support by troubleshooting product, process, and application concerns.
Conduct product demonstrations and support customer trials and evaluations.
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using CRM software.
Prepare and submit activity reports, trip reports, and market intelligence updates.
Collaborate with laboratory personnel to coordinate product testing, trial requests, and new product evaluations.
Document trial results and customer feedback to support continuous product improvement.
Represent FinishWorks professionally at trade shows, customer meetings, industry events, and company functions.
Stay informed of market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs within the assigned territory.

Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably within industrial coatings, manufacturing, chemical products, or a related industry.
Valid driver's license.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
