POSITION SUMMARY:

United Automobile Insurance Company is seeking a Talent Sourcer to support our recruiting efforts during a period of increased hiring activity.

This is a hands-on recruiting position focused primarily on candidate sourcing and prescreening. The Talent Sourcer will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify qualified talent, build candidate pipelines, conduct initial candidate screens, and help keep the recruiting process moving efficiently.

The ideal candidate understands the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry and is familiar with the types of positions commonly found within an insurance organization, particularly Claims, Customer Service, Underwriting, Legal, Sales, and related functions.

This is initially a seasonal opportunity with the potential to transition into a regular full-time position based on business needs and individual performance.  This position offers remote work, ideal candidate is located in the South East region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, our applicant tracking system, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Identify and engage passive candidates for current and anticipated openings.
• Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet position requirements.
• Conduct initial telephone or virtual prescreens to assess experience, qualifications, compensation expectations, availability, and interest.
• Partner closely with the Recruiter to present qualified candidates for further consideration.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for frequently recruited and difficult-to-fill positions.
• Conduct targeted candidate outreach and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and timely candidate information and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Assist with candidate communication and interview coordination as needed.
• Support recruiting campaigns, referral initiatives, career fairs, and other talent acquisition activities.
• Research additional sourcing channels and strategies to expand our candidate reach.
• Help provide candidates with a professional, responsive, and positive recruiting experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, or a related area preferred.
• Working knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry required.
• Familiarity with insurance terminology, operations, and common positions within Claims, Customer Service, Underwriting, Legal, Sales, or related functions.
• Experience using LinkedIn, job boards, applicant tracking systems, and other sourcing tools.
• Ability to review resumes and recognize relevant experience and transferable skills.
• Comfortable conducting initial candidate prescreens.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to professionally engage both active and passive candidates.
• Strong organization, responsiveness, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines in a fast-paced environment.
