Rise Vision is currently searching for a Subscription Operations Specialist to assist the Finance team, reporting to the FP&A Manager.

Mission of Subscription Operations Specialist:

As a Subscription Operations Specialist, you are joining a highly collaborative team accountable for the setup, changes and cancellations of all subscriptions. You follow defined policies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of invoices, and ensure that outstanding invoices are followed up on within the defined collections process. You are expected to execute on these responsibilities in adherence with the service level agreement commitments to internal departments.

You are the expert in the subscription management system, and understand how it connects with the business’s CRM tool. You understand Rise Vision’s revenue forecast and budget, and how variations in the subscription management processes impact the accuracy of reporting metrics and the integrity of the financial statements. You have a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, how they are calculated, and can provide analysis on actual results and the impact on Rise Vision’s forecast. 

You are a continuous learner, remaining current with technology and trends and continually looking for ways to improve our processes.

This position will report to the FP&A Manager.

Role Responsibilities:

• Accountable for subscription management setup, changes and cancellations, and for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of invoices.
• Monitor billing inbox channels, answering customer and internal billing inquiries and resolving any issues.
• Partner with the FP&A Manager and team members to improve, automate and simplify existing reporting. Clearly communicate the impact of metrics and results on the business. 
• Understand the overall business to inform subscription management and reporting process improvements.
  
  

Role Requirements:

• Background in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in the related field.
• Must have experience working within a SaaS environment.
• Must have experience working with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and subscription management systems (e.g., Chargebee). 
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting concepts, and financial statement analysis.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using tools such as Excel.
• Knowledge of financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, financial reporting software).
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
