We are looking for a highly motivated New Business Account Executive to join Tektronix's Service Sales Organization in the Americas. This role is focused on driving growth for our repair, calibration, and instrument service solutions across the Southeast U.S. territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new logo customers, expand Tektronix service relationships, and drive recurring revenue growth.
You will proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with organizations that rely on test and measurement equipment, build strong relationships with prospective customers, and partner closely with Key Account Managers and cross-functional teams to grow service revenue within existing accounts. This role plays a critical part in helping customers maximize equipment performance, uptime, compliance, and lifecycle value through Tektronix's industry-leading calibration, repair, and asset management services.
The ideal candidate must reside in: New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, Vermont, Eastern Canada, Connecticut.

Responsibilities
Drive New Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify, engage, and secure new customers for Tektronix's calibration, repair, and lifecycle service solutions through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting.
Understand Customer Service Requirements: Consult with prospective customers to assess their test and measurement equipment inventory, calibration compliance requirements, repair needs, uptime objectives, and future service requirements.
- Develop and Present Service Solutions: Create and deliver tailored service proposals that align with customer operational, quality, and compliance needs, including depot calibration, on-site calibration, repair services, asset management programs, and multi-year service agreements.
- Negotiate and Close Service Agreements: Develop pricing proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and secure service contracts that deliver value to customers while supporting profitable growth and pricing objectives for Tektronix.
- Promote Long-Term Service Partnerships: Position multi-year service agreements and strategic service programs by articulating the benefits of standardized calibration, equipment reliability, risk reduction, compliance support, and lifecycle management.
- Manage and Advance Sales Pipeline: Maintain accurate opportunity, activity, and forecast data within CRM systems to ensure pipeline visibility, effective territory management, and achievement of revenue goals.
- Qualify and Convert Demand: Respond to and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, digital channels, customer referrals, and demand generation initiatives, converting opportunities into new service business.
- Communicate the Tektronix Service Value Proposition: Clearly articulate the benefits of Tektronix's accredited calibration, repair, and asset management services, including technical expertise, quality systems, turnaround time, geographic coverage, and customer support.
- Collaborate Across the Service Organization: Partner with Key Account Managers, Service Delivery teams, Operations, and Customer Success resources to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Achieve Growth Objectives: Consistently meet or exceed assigned new logo acquisition targets, service revenue goals, activity metrics, and key performance indicators on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop Industry and Service Expertise: Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge of calibration services, repair capabilities, quality standards, industry regulations, and consultative sales techniques.
Qualifications
Must haves:
- Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of the industry or market segment, including understanding competitor offerings and client needs.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in the eT&M industry or a related field is a plus, bringing insights and networks that could boost business development.
- Advanced analytical skills are needed to spot trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the market.
- Proficiency with CRM software or other sales tools is essential for streamlining client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills are a must for creatively addressing client concerns and overcoming objections.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, marketing, or a related field lays a solid foundation in sales principles and strategies.
