We’re looking for Senior Associate Subscription Sales, based in Guwahati Remotely to join our team at McGraw Hill.


How are you creating an impact?
The role will focus on expanding market presence, scaling digital revenue, strengthening print adoptions, and closing large institutional deals, especially for Express Library and higher education product lines for both digital and print business across the North East region, based in Guwahati.

What will you be doing?


Digital Solutions & Institutional Revenue Growth

  • Drive sales of digital solutions including Express Library, eBooks, learning platforms, and LMS-integrated products.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets across digital portfolios.
  • Lead institutional sales initiatives such as demos, workshops, and adoption programs.

Print Business & Adoption Growth

  • Promote and expand Higher Education print titles across colleges and universities.
  • Identify adoption opportunities with faculty and departments across engineering, management, sciences, and allied disciplines.
  • Manage distributors, booksellers, and channel partners to ensure print availability and visibility.

Territory & Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute a territory growth plan covering all North East states.
  • Build and maintain relationships with academic leaders, faculty, librarians, and digital procurement teams.
  • Strengthen institutional partnerships and drive long-term engagement opportunities.

Market Development & Strategic Execution

  • Identify new institutional opportunities, government projects, tenders, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Track competitor activity and share market intelligence.
  • Conduct faculty outreach programs, academic events, and awareness sessions.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination

  • Collaborate with academic consultants, product, and marketing teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Maintain timely CRM updates, pipeline visibility, and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with logistics, distribution, and operations teams for smooth execution of print order

 

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Well spoken in Assamese language
  • 2–5 years of experience in Higher Education sales, EdTech, publishing, or SaaS.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the North East region.
  • Experience in institutional and library sales.
  • Understanding of print and digital educational procurement cycles.
  • Ability to independently manage a territory in a structured sales environment.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and reporting skills
