Job Description
A workplace software product company is looking for a Software Development Manager to spearhead their IT team and development efforts. This is a very unique role and they are looking for a blend of skills ranging from strong technical foundations with coding and understanding best practices but also someone who has a product mindset. Someone who has spearheaded product development in the past would be a huge asset. You will be leading a small onshore team of 3-4 developers and a few offshore developers as well. Most of your time will be on people management and talking with sales and other business departments to understand requirements and find innovative solutions, but you will still need to occasionally code when called up to bat.
In terms of technology must haves, C#, .NET, JavaScript with a modern FE framework, SQL and Azure is required. You will be developing long term strategies for future development as well as maintaining development. Experience in a SaaS environment enterprise environment is also a nice to have. This is a small company with about 30 people total. This company has been around for 20+ years but they operate in a startup environment where people wear many hats.

- 8+ years of total experience
- 2 years of Lead or Leadership experience
- BS in CS or related field is a plus
