Senior Sales Executive (all genders)

About the role

DIGITEC, a leader in Foreign Exchange SaaS specializing in Swaps, NDF, and Money Markets, is looking for a Senior Sales Executive (all genders) to join our growing commercial team.

As we continue to scale globally, this role sits at the heart of our revenue organization. Reporting directly to the CSO, you will drive new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, and play a key role in shaping how we bring our solutions to market.

Currently, this is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while working with an international team. Please note that we are currently unable to offer visa sponsorship. We collaborate globally with our main offices in Hamburg and London.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll have the autonomy to shape your territory, build lasting client relationships, and directly influence our continued international growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities across banks and financial institutions through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
• Manage the full sales cycle—from first contact and discovery meetings through product demonstrations, commercial negotiations, and contract signing.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and become a long-term advisor to your clients.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts as our product portfolio continues to grow.
• Deliver tailored product presentations and demonstrations, translating complex solutions into clear business value.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Client Services, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from pre-sales through implementation.
• Represent DIGITEC at client meetings, conferences, and industry events, strengthening our presence within the FX community.
• Travel internationally (approximately twice per month) to meet clients, attend industry events, and collaborate with colleagues at our offices in Hamburg and London.

Preferred qualifications

• Several years of experience in B2B sales, business development, account management, or a similar client-facing commercial role. 
• Experience within FX, Capital Markets, FICC, Treasury, electronic trading, fintech, or financial software. 
• A proven ability to build new client relationships while successfully managing and growing existing accounts. 
• Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. 
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset—you enjoy opening doors, creating opportunities, and taking ownership of your pipeline. 
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with confidence engaging senior decision-makers. 
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across international, cross-functional teams.
