This role is part of Equitybee's operations department, which is a scale enabler that requires a service mentality and mindset. You will manage tight timelines for fund closing while providing top-notch client service. Additionally, you will grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization's internal capacity. Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to build lasting relationships with various internal and external stakeholders are essential. You must also have the ability to transition quickly and execute in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Strategic Support and Problems You Will Solve
  • Capital calls and distributions
  • Notice creation and investor communication
  • Daily journaling to maintain top-notch books and records
  • Allocation of income and expenses to partner capital accounts
  • Ad-Hoc reporting to provide visibility to all stakeholders
  • Preparation of annual financial statements
  • Cross-functional role involving more than fund administration
Additional Responsibilities
  • Custodial and brokerage account opening with full exposure to KYC/AML and beneficial ownership processes
  • Regulatory and compliance support, including facilitating SEC Form D and Blue Sky filings
  • Collaborating with the deal diligence team and middle office functions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • 3+ years of fund accounting experience
  • Experience interpreting fund operating agreements and applying accounting principles to those terms
  • Proven experience in the creation, population, and distribution of financial statements and members' capital account statements
  • Proven experience in the creation, population, and distribution of capital calls and distributions
  • Investran experience is strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of treasury operations
  • Intimate knowledge of various fund legal structures is a plus
