Stacker is seeking a Senior/Director of Sales to join our GTM team. You will focus on driving new customer acquisition and coaching/developing our sales team for our rapidly scaling brand marketing products. From defining go-to-market strategy and setting sales targets, to leading the team and collaborating on new product offerings, you'll be responsible for building on the traction for our content distribution products for brands and expanding new business revenue channels. Successful candidates will have a proven track record at a growth stage company with experience architecting and managing a sales organization as it scales from $5M to $20M in revenue growth. Candidates should have a reputation for mentorship, accountability and should be a magnet for similarly high-integrity, high-performance talent.

We're seeking someone passionate about sales and digital marketing, someone with the ability to step into a leadership role, scalably drive sales strategies, and develop a performing sales culture. Responsibilities will include:

  • Building a high performance team of sales representatives focused on new business growth.
  • Partnering with other leaders to develop and refine Go-To-Market motions.
  • Training, developing, and building out an ongoing skills analysis aimed at designing a scalable sales curriculum for improvement/advancement.
  • Managing the accuracy of the forecast and identifying key indicators of success.
  • Driving sales process excellence across complex large deals.
  • Building and maintaining highly collaborative work streams with account management, product, and onboarding teams.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and retaining top talent.
  • Overseeing and inspecting the daily sales operations of your team in order to promote KPI accountability and identify coaching opportunities.
  • Identifying and addressing gaps in performance or areas for improvement and building strategic coaching plans.
  • Demonstrating high emotional intelligence and adapting your communication and/or coaching style accordingly to your direct reports.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of sales experience, with 3-5+ years of Sales Management experience leading sales teams; preferably in the martech, digital media or content marketing industry.
  • Proven track record of setting and hitting sales/revenue targets - consistent top performer
  • Highly organized, process driven, and cross-functional relationship builder.
  • Displays ownership of their team/business with an operationally driven management operating cadence.
  • Passionate about training, coaching, leadership, and development.
  • Confident and comes to the table with a learning mindset and point of view around sales excellence.
  • Strengths in selling in varied environments (in person, virtual, etc.) to customers.
  • Willing to travel at least 1X/quarter for events, conferences, customer on-sites.
  • Data-driven, detail oriented, organized, and a self-starter.
  • Functions well in a very fast paced environment with constant changes.

Benefits

Compensation offered will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role's scope and complexity, and the candidate's experience. For roles based in New York City, the estimated base salary range is $160,000 - $200,000 base salary + quarterly bonus program. Other benefits include:
