They are responsible for delivering services within scope and budget while facilitating stakeholder engagement and managing project teams.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant, Enterprise Digital Transformation Project Manager, to join our growing team of professionals.

Focused on inspiring organizations to transform and innovate, LGPG partners with municipal, county, regional, and quasi-governmental entities throughout the US to help them meet their biggest challenges. We partner with local governments at the enterprise level, as well as within and across departments, to meet the most critical needs of their community, emphasizing principles of equity and engagement. We take pride in tailoring our projects to recognize the work our clients do every day. We care about what we do, and we care about the people impacted by our work.

Our EDT practice focuses on working with municipal clients (cities, counties, schools, and special districts) to address business process transformation initiatives, including: process and policy assessments/gap analyses; software assessments and replacement planning; as well as providing client-side project management as clients implement new software solutions. Our team combines expertise in technology, operations, and software system processes to help clients navigate complex organizational and technological change.

We are passionate about the work we perform, supporting our clients and our own team members, and we have fun in the process.

We have worked with hundreds of government agencies throughout the United States. We understand the needs of public sector agencies, their fiscal constraints, and the commitment to serving constituents. Upon joining our EDT practice, you can expect to receive guidance from the supervisor(s), consultants, or principal in charge of an engagement or project within LGPG. Work performed will be closely supervised through coaching and training. With guidance from staff members of the EDT practice and LGPG, you will become familiar with the firm’s systems, operations, and relationships. The successful candidate will lead software system assessment and selection/procurement projects involving many systems used by local governments including, but not limited to, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer Information Systems (CIS), and related best-of-breed software systems.

You will bring a mix of demonstrated project management capabilities, exceptional organizational and self-management qualities, strong leadership capabilities, effective written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to travel to build effective client relationships. You will be responsible for the day-to-day analysis of requirements, design and documentation while taking the longer view in your planning and communication.  Your experience in planning for and selecting enterprise software for a public sector organization will make you a trusted advisor to our local government clients and a valued member of our team.

You will be joining a team that includes both office-based and remote colleagues. This position will support client engagements nationwide, primarily supporting large enterprise organizations. As a result, this position will require occasional work outside the selected candidates’ standard 8am-5pm business hours.
