Company Description

 📢 Together Ahead

Joining aDvens means joining a European leader in Cybersecurity, but above all it means joining specialists who are passionate about protecting organizations that are increasingly exposed, to help them to accomplish their often-essential missions.

It also means deciding to become part of a team that puts its performance at the service of high-impact projects (socially and ecologically).

🌎 European player on a global mission

Our 600 experts are present throughout France, Germany, Italy and Spain as well as in Canada and Tahiti. We are now established in the DACH region with an office in Munich/Germany.

Our mission to protect organizations from cyber threats guides us and drives us every day. But that’s not enough for us. If Cybersecurity keeps the world go round, then our performance must help to change it for the better.

Together and ahead of the game: since our very beginnings, we have been driven by four strong values. More than just a trademark, they're our driving force to act today and do better tomorrow: #Boldness #Collective #Impact #Integrity

🚀 What’s in for you ?

  • A welcoming team, training, transition, mobility – we support each project according to the desires and ambitions of each individual.
  • We believe in work-life balance as a vehicle for personal fulfillment, so we have opted for autonomy and freedom in the workplace but also in the way we organize ourselves daily.
  • And to nurture our precious collective spirit, our weeks are characterized by various moments of sociability and sharing... always with a backdrop of humor (more or less accessible 😅).
  • Every day we take action on social impact projects through our fund “Advens for People and Planet” whether they’re centered on education, inclusion, or preserving the climate and environment. You have a social project you want to support? Use our internal team fundraising and collect money from colleagues and the company monthly.

As you can see, we're looking for more than just Cybersecurity experts - we're looking for committed and passionate people.

Job Description

As part of our Blue Team, at the heart of our SOC, you will participate in identifying abnormal behavior or vulnerabilities to protect our customers’ information systems.

🤓 Your mission

  • Assist your customer base in protecting their information systems by identifying abnormal behavior.
  • Develop and submit a remediation plan adapted to your customers’ situation and business risks.
  • Report any incidents detected to your customers.
  • Be involved in the improvement of our SOC’s security incident detection techniques and rules, and therefore contribute to the development of a unique product on the Cybersecurity market.

🤠 Your potential projects

What other concrete activities could you take part in if you joined us? The SOC algorithms detect weak signals: it is up to you to analyze them.

  • Work with SOC L3 experts to counter the most sophisticated attacks.
  • Inform the product team of changes to be made to the analysis and incident reporting tools.
  • Guide and advise your customers’ operational security team when they deal with a security incident.
  • When a customer’s CISO must react to an incident, advise them on which operations they should carry out.

Qualifications

🤩 So, is this the right job for you?

  • You are comfortable working with many SOC customers at the same time.
  • In the starting blocks: you keep an eye out for attacks and like to react quickly.
  • You enjoy advising customers: after your analysis, you can present your action plans to them and provide full support along the way.
  • You see the benefit of processes in helping you to monitor and improve what is already in place.
  • Innovation is important to you. You can use what you see daily to improve defense systems, particularly through the definition of detection rules.
  • You want to evolve in your career! As a Security Analyst, you are also prepared to become a consultant on specific technologies, or even to progress to other jobs.
  • You are passionate about security and are looking for projects with added value within a dynamic company.

Language skills (both mandatory):

  • German (full professional proficiency, C1) and English (full professional proficiency)

Location:
