We are looking for a permanent full-time Regional Sales Manager, Western Canada to join our Plumbing / Separation Technology team. This remote role can be based in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Vancouver, with preference given to candidates based in the Edmonton area.

As Sales Manager, Western Canada, you will play a key role in driving growth across the region by leading a team of sales representatives, supporting strategic customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This is a highly visible leadership position that combines people leadership with hands-on sales execution.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, Plumbing / Separation Technology, you will coach and develop a growing team while working closely with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders to execute sales strategies that support market expansion and revenue growth. Success in this role will come from your ability to lead with integrity, build trust, develop talent, and balance account management responsibilities with a proactive business development mindset. You'll help strengthen customer partnerships, support key account initiatives, and expand Canplas' presence throughout Western Canada.
Drive growth across Western Canada by executing regional sales strategies, expanding market share, strengthening customer partnerships, and identifying new opportunities within target markets and key accounts.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team by coaching, mentoring, and empowering sales representatives to deliver results while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
Strengthen strategic customer relationships with key distributors, contractors, engineers, inspectors, and national accounts, serving as a trusted partner and escalation point to support long-term business growth.
Translate business objectives into actionable regional plans by aligning pricing strategies, sales initiatives, and customer engagement activities with organizational goals and market opportunities.
Leverage market insights and performance data to drive decision-making by identifying trends, improving forecasting accuracy, and uncovering opportunities to accelerate business performance and market penetration.
Partner cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer outcomes by collaborating with marketing, operations, customer service, and leadership teams to ensure alignment, responsiveness, and execution excellence.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years of sales experience, including experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and delivering measurable results.
Strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to influence customers and stakeholders at all levels.
Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools, combined with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
Knowledge of Canadian market dynamics; experience in plumbing, construction products, building materials, manufacturing, or a related industry is considered an asset.
Proficient in word, excel and power point.
