As we continue to strengthen our Breast & Skeletal Health business across Europe, we are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead growth, build strategic customer partnerships, and drive exceptional performance across Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing sales professional with a strong track record in medical devices or healthcare sales who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is motivated by delivering meaningful impact.

As the Sales Manager you will develop, achieve and maintain district business growth and market share through exceptional sales execution within designated territory. You will be responsible for coaching. You will manage external sales agents. You will ensure fast implementation and execution of strategies, projects, and methods. You will also be responsible for provision of excellence in customer relationship management, customer service and support. In this role you are the effective representative for and positive promotion of the Hologic brand. You will establish and maintain high level Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships.

What to expect

  • Develop and execute strategic territory business plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales execution, opportunity management, and successful contract negotiations.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, purchasing groups, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer partnerships.
  • Analyse market trends, customer insights, performance data, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Lead complex commercial discussions and secure favourable outcomes that support long-term business success.
  • Utilise Salesforce and other sales enablement tools to drive performance and business insights.
  • Lead or coordinate complex national projects involving multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Customer Support, Product Management, and European commercial teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Act as a trusted partner to customers by understanding their challenges and delivering solutions that create value.

What we expect

Knowledge & Experience
  • A strong track record of success within the medical device, healthcare, or related industry.
  • Detailed understanding of the Breast & Skeletal Health market, healthcare systems, customer environments, and industry regulations.
  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to clearly communicate the strategic benefits of our portfolio.
  • Deep understanding of customer buying behaviours, stakeholder mapping, and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to analyse market trends, business performance, balance sheets, and P&L data.
  • Experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms to drive business performance.
  • Strong awareness of competitor activity, market dynamics, and commercial opportunities.
  • A history of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.

€50,000 – €56,000 gross pa base + commission (OTE €100,000 – €112,000 based on target performance, with opportunity to earn greater than OTE for those who exceed their targets). The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and alignment with internal pay structures. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including pension and insurances.
