At ZipNom, interns work on real client-facing sales activities, not just theory. This internship is designed for candidates who want practical exposure to B2B IT sales, client communication, and revenue generation in a startup environment.
As a Sales Executive Intern, you will support the sales team in managing leads, client communication, proposal preparation, and follow-ups. You will learn the complete IT sales cycle—from lead handover to deal closure—while working closely with experienced sales professionals.
This role is ideal for candidates who are interested in sales, business development, consulting, or startup growth roles.
Assist Sales Executives in email, call, and WhatsApp follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.
Coordinate and schedule client meetings, demos, and discovery calls.
Draft professional emails, follow-up messages, and meeting summaries.
Help prepare sales proposals, quotations, pitch decks, and service documents.
Support pricing discussions by collecting requirements and coordinating with internal teams.
Track proposal status and follow up for feedback or approvals.
Update and maintain CRM systems with lead status, follow-ups, and notes.
Track sales activities and assist in preparing daily/weekly sales reports.
Ensure proper documentation and internal handover after deal confirmation.
Conduct basic research on prospects, industries, and competitors.
Assist in identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities for existing clients.
Support the sales team with insights that improve pitch quality.
Coordinate with Business Development Executives, Marketing, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth sales operations.
Assist during onboarding of new clients by preparing kickoff documents and notes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interest in sales, client interaction, and business growth.
Basic understanding of business, technology, or IT services.
Comfortable using email, MS Excel / Google Sheets, Zoom, and basic CRM tools.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and take ownership.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
MBA (Sales/Marketing) students are encouraged to apply.
