About Viva Talent
We connect US companies with Executive Assistants and Recruiting Coordinators across Latin America and South Africa. We’re driven by our social mission to create 1,000 meaningful career opportunities for women while welcoming talent of all genders. The result so far: we’re a team of 240+ people across 16+ countries and 3 continents.
Why this role exists
Viva keeps growing and so does customer demand. That means we need to grow our hiring capacity too. Our 9-person Talent Acquisition team is looking for its next teammate to keep hiring moving across our product lines and make sure no candidate gets lost in the shuffle.
What you’ll do
Make hiring happen ← your first challenge
Drive the pipeline: Tackle our Executive Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator pipelines from start to finish: job post → screening, interviews, assessments → deciding if we hire → offer and pre-onboarding process.
Keep everyone in the loop: Share clear, regular updates with candidates that make them feel valued, regardless of the outcome, and keep your team (and Vivans) informed through async and live channels.
Keep our data clean: Keep our ATS and other tools accurate and up to date, so everyone knows where each process stands.
Make hiring better ← your second challenge
Always look for a better way: Make hiring smoother and improve candidate experience at every touchpoint. Small fix or big change, spot it → make it happen.
Turn insights into action: Use recruiting data and feedback from candidates and customers to spot bottlenecks and choose what to improve next, test ideas and see them through.
Put AI and automation to work: Cut repetitive tasks, free up capacity, and keep recruiting human.
Bring your point of view: Speak up, share ideas, and help set strategy, priorities, and next steps with the team.
Who you are
You have 1+ year in a People role. That could be Talent Acquisition, Training, People Operations, HR, or employee experience. Your title matters less than the perspective you bring; direct recruiting experience isn’t required.
You make processes better. You’ve spotted a workflow, system, or experience that wasn’t working well for the people using it, then improved it without waiting to be asked.
You put people experience first. You think about what candidates and teammates need to know, how they may be feeling, and how each step can leave them feeling considered and valued.
You communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently in English. You have C1 or C2-level English and can keep up in fast-moving written and live conversations.
You’re curious about AI and automation. You use AI in your day-to-day work, explore tools on your own, and have tried them to improve a task or workflow. You know the tool still needs your judgment.
You speak up and follow through. You share ideas without waiting to be asked, ask tough questions, challenge things constructively, and help turn good ideas into action.
You’re comfortable with pace and autonomy. You can set priorities, make sound decisions, and move work forward in a fast-paced, remote, async-heavy environment without waiting for someone to push you.
You type 40+ words per minute. You can move quickly and accurately through the written work this role involves.
You’ve shown commitment in your work history. You’ve stayed 2+ years in company, regardless of your title.
