The Contract - Candidate Services Recruiter (CSR) provides full-shift support to the North America University Talent Acquisition candidate services team, managing high-volume candidate and hiring manager inquiries throughout the preboarding lifecycle from offer acceptance through Day 1. The role focuses on administrative and operational execution rather than sourcing, using standardized processes, case management tools, and response templates to ensure a smooth and timely preboarding experience for early career candidates and their hiring teams.

  • Monitor candidate pre-start contingency tasks, including background checks, drug tests, medical checks, work authorization, mandatory documents, relocation steps, and IT logistics.
  • Confirm completion status of pre-start tasks to both candidates and hiring managers, providing clear and professional updates.
  • Use case management and SIM queue systems to triage inbound cases, prioritize work, and maintain strong queue health.

  • Identify and escalate Tier 2 cases to full-time candidate services recruiters when case complexity exceeds Tier 1 scope, including immigration complications, start date conflicts requiring recruiter judgment, and relocation eligibility determinations.
  • Support SIM queue health by maintaining consistent queue coverage during assigned shift hours and flagging aging cases that approach service level thresholds.
  • Execute administrative and recruiting operations tasks to support offer management, onboarding, and preboarding timelines.
  • Follow documented processes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency, compliance, and high-quality candidate experience.
  • Communicate with candidates and hiring managers in a professional, empathetic tone appropriate for early career talent.
  • Distinguish between routine inquiries that can be resolved independently and complex issues that require recruiter or specialist intervention.
  • Navigate multiple high-volume systems simultaneously to research, update, and resolve candidate and hiring manager inquiries.
  • Collaborate with full-time candidate services recruiters and other stakeholders as needed to ensure smooth preboarding and Day 1 readiness.
Essential Skills
  • Prior experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, HR operations, or similar support-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform recruiting coordination or administrative coordination tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and related recruiting operations tools.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone suitable for early career candidates and hiring managers.
  • Comfort working at scale with a high volume of cases while adhering to established processes and service level agreements.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and use standardized email templates effectively.
  • Skill in distinguishing routine inquiries from complex issues that require escalation or recruiter judgment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage workload within defined shift hours and case SLAs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a recruiting coordinator or project/administrative coordinator supporting recruiting or HR operations.
  • background in offer management, onboarding coordination, or recruiting operations execution.
  • Familiarity with email-based case management systems and SIM or similar queue management tools.
