Position Summary

Nexus Integrity Management is seeking a Recruiter to support the company’s recruiting and onboarding efforts as the organization continues to grow. This role is responsible for identifying and attracting qualified candidates, maintaining strong candidate pipelines, coordinating the hiring process, and supporting a positive onboarding experience for new employees.

The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs and help ensure positions are filled with qualified candidates who align with Nexus’ culture, values, and operational needs. This position will support recruiting for both field and office positions across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates for field and office positions through job boards, social media, employee referrals, educational partnerships, networking, and proactive outreach.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Review applications and resumes, conduct initial candidate screenings, and identify qualified candidates for hiring manager consideration.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers and maintain timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, staffing priorities, and candidate qualifications.
  • Assist with job postings, offer preparation, pre-employment requirements, and other recruiting-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR, compliance, safety, IT, and other departments to support a smooth transition from candidate to new hire.
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure new employees receive necessary information, documentation, equipment, training, and resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and recruiting records within company systems.
  • Track recruiting activity and metrics, including candidate pipeline activity, time-to-fill, and hiring progress.
  • Represent Nexus at career fairs, recruiting events, educational institutions, and other community or industry recruiting opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, technical schools, workforce organizations, and other recruiting partners.
  • Support employee engagement, performance review, HRIS, and other HR initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure recruiting practices remain consistent with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent recruiting or HR experience may be considered.
  • 1-2 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related HR experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for multiple positions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience sourcing candidates and developing candidate pipelines through multiple recruiting channels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, field employees, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the HR team and hiring managers.
  • Comfortable working with both field and office employees across multiple locations.
  • Experience in energy, utilities, construction, midstream, or another compliance-driven industry preferred.
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS), HRIS, or other recruiting technology preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for recruiting events, company locations, and field-related hiring needs.
