The Role


Veeva is looking for Associate Account Partner with B2B sales experience to drive sales of Vault R&D applications. Associate Account Partner will be responsible for generating opportunities, winning new business and managing relationships with life sciences companies (biotech, medical device, and pharmaceutical).


Ability to successfully communicate across various business functions and organizational levels are central to the role.

What You'll Do
  • Understand and present Veeva products and inspire prospect interest
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT
  • Contribute to team quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
  • Keep current with industry trends and engage customers addressing their business challenges
  • Act with urgency, integrity and a focus on the customer


Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales or clinical trial experience
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to execute sales activities based on action plan
  • Ability to work with a wide range of customers from end users to C-level
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently
  • A passion for solving customer business problems
  • Be willing to travel as required


Nice to Have
  • Understanding R&D software solutions across Clinical, Quality and Regulatory areas
  • Experience working with multi-national corporations (MNCs) and an ability to collaborate with internal colleagues across regions in both Japanese and English
  • Understanding of the life science industry, enterprise software sales cycle
