What you’ll achieve:
Reporting to the VP, Product, the Product Operations Manager owns the orchestration and implementation of Outseer’s commercialization operating cadence, providing the reporting rhythm, templates, governance support, and consolidated visibility that give leadership one accurate and trusted view of status, milestones, risks, dependencies, and readiness as capabilities move from early-stage development through the commercialization stage-gate model: Discover, Shape, Commercial Design, Early Adopter, Scale, and Learn.
This role owns the day-to-day mechanics that make the commercialization operating model effective and sustainable. The Product Operations Manager implements the cadence, builds and maintains the reporting infrastructure, and owns issue and risk tracking across the portfolio. Working closely with the Product Manager, Commercial, Product Managers, Sales, and Solution Consulting, this role turns distributed inputs into clear, consistent, decision-ready reporting for the VP, Product and senior leadership.
As the operational owner of the commercialization cadence, this role brings structure and discipline to a complex, cross-functional environment. The Product Operations Manager proactively surfaces risks, dependencies, readiness gaps, and inconsistent ownership before they affect business outcomes, ensuring stakeholders have a clear and current view of where every capability stands. This is an execution and orchestration role at the center of how commercialization gets done at Outseer, with accountability for ensuring the operating cadence remains accurate, useful to leadership, and sustainable for the teams contributing to it.
Essential Duties
Commercialization Cadence Ownership & Implementation
- Own the implementation and ongoing operation of Outseer’s commercialization reporting cadence, including the rhythm, templates, consolidation process, and supporting artefacts.
- Run the cadence end-to-end by sourcing input from Product Managers, the Product Manager, Commercial, Sales, Solution Consulting, and other stakeholders and consolidating it into a single, trusted view.
- Maintain the stage-gate and launch tracking model across Discover, Shape, Commercial Design, Early Adopter, Scale, and Learn for all active initiatives.
- Ensure reporting requirements are clear, proportionate, and sustainable for the teams providing input.
- Continuously improve the cadence and underlying processes based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
Reporting & Portfolio Visibility
- Produce concise, executive-level reporting on commercialization and portfolio health, including milestones, risks, dependencies, launch readiness, RAG status, stage-gate progression, and decisions required.
- Own the single source of truth for the status of active commercialization initiatives and launches.
- Reconcile incomplete, inconsistent, or conflicting inputs into one accurate and coherent portfolio view.
- Define and maintain portfolio-level metrics that provide leadership with a clear view of progress, momentum, readiness, and execution risk.
- Continuously improve reporting templates, dashboards, and tools so information remains actionable for leadership and efficient for contributors.
Issue, Risk & Dependency Tracking
- Own issue, risk, and dependency tracking across the commercialization portfolio, including maintaining RAID logs and equivalent artefacts.
- Proactively follow up with owners to drive actions and issues toward closure.
- Identify cross-functional risks and dependencies early, whether related to product delivery, commercialization, or go-to-market execution.
- Route issues to the appropriate owner and ensure they are tracked through resolution.
- Anticipate downstream impacts of delays, scope changes, or unresolved dependencies across interconnected initiatives and launches.
- Escalate material risks and readiness gaps before they compound or affect customer and business outcomes.
Governance Implementation
- Own the implementation and operation of governance artefacts that support existing steering forums, including RAID logs, milestone trackers, stage-gate dashboards, and decision logs.
- Ensure decisions, commitments, actions, and owners arising from governance forums are documented, traceable, and followed through to closure.
- Frame risks, unresolved issues, and open decisions clearly so leaders can act quickly and at the appropriate level.
- Maintain consistency and discipline in how governance information is captured and reported across initiatives.
- Support preparation for commercialization, investment, and GA readiness reviews as required.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
- Build trusted working relationships with Product Managers, Product Leadership, Sales, Solution Consulting, and other stakeholders to enable timely and accurate status reporting.
- Identify where initiatives lack clear ownership, milestones, or status and escalate gaps so they can be resolved promptly.
- Surface recurring patterns across the portfolio, including common risks, resource constraints, stalled milestones, readiness gaps, or repeated stage-gate issues.
- Facilitate alignment where information, ownership, or dependencies span multiple functions.
- Run lightweight post-program or post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and incorporate improvements into future commercialization activity.
Operating Model & Process Improvement
- Support the continued development and maturity of Outseer’s commercialization operating model.
- Identify opportunities to simplify reporting, reduce duplication, improve transparency, and increase consistency across Product and go-to-market teams.
- Establish and maintain practical templates, standards, and working practices that improve commercialization execution.
- Ensure operational processes balance governance discipline with the need for speed and minimal administrative burden.
- Contribute insights and recommendations that improve how Product and commercial teams coordinate across the portfolio.
Desired Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
- 8+ years of experience in product operations, commercial operations, portfolio operations, PMO, business analysis, program coordination, or related roles.
- Demonstrated experience building and running status reporting, dashboards, governance artefacts, or portfolio tracking across multiple concurrent and complex initiatives.
- Strong understanding of technology and product delivery environments, including software development, SaaS, data, or related disciplines, sufficient to interpret and appropriately challenge reported status.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complexity into concise, accurate, decision-ready reporting.
