About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Product Manager to drive product delivery, maintain the product roadmap, and translate customer and operational needs into clear, actionable requirements.

In this role, you will work across a buyer-facing mobile application, seller fulfilment workflows, and internal administration tools. Collaborating with leadership, engineering teams, customers, sellers, and regional partners, you will ensure product priorities are aligned with business objectives and user needs.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional communication skills, strong critical thinking, sound product judgement, and the ability to take ownership and deliver results independently.

Ideal Profile

Product Management & Delivery

• 4+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or software delivery within a technology-focused business.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and translate loosely defined business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
• Confidence working independently, challenging assumptions, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Communication & Critical Thinking

• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, missing requirements, and unsupported assumptions.
• Confidence communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders and raising risks or ambiguities early.

Product & User Experience

• Good UX judgement, particularly for mobile applications and task-oriented operational workflows.
• Ability to assess user journeys, identify friction points, and recommend practical improvements.
• Experience testing products hands-on and validating whether features meet their intended objectives.

Tools & Technical Understanding

• Comfortable using project management, collaboration, and AI-powered productivity tools.
• Ability to use AI tools for research, analysis, drafting, and requirements reviews while independently validating their accuracy.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with B2B marketplaces, e-commerce, logistics, or order fulfilment.
• Familiarity with mobile applications and multi-sided products serving different user groups.
• Understanding of ordering, product substitutions, deliveries, invoicing, and customer support workflows.
• Exposure to SaaS platforms, APIs, or third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

Product Roadmap & Prioritisation

• Develop, maintain, and prioritise the product roadmap, balancing customer needs, commercial objectives, and engineering capacity.
• Ensure product priorities reflect user feedback and business requirements.
• Support informed decision-making by identifying dependencies, trade-offs, and competing priorities.

Product Delivery & Coordination

• Track projects, milestones, dependencies, blockers, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain visibility across product initiatives and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
• Identify risks and delays early, helping teams resolve issues and maintain delivery momentum.

Customer Insights & Requirements

• Gather, analyse, and consolidate feedback from buyers, sellers, regional representatives, and internal operations teams.
• Translate customer and business problems into clear product briefs, user stories, workflow descriptions, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Review requirements for completeness, clarity, and consistency before handing them over to engineering.

User Experience & Workflow Improvement

• Review buyer-facing mobile experiences, including checkout and order tracking, alongside seller fulfilment and internal administration workflows.
• Identify usability issues, unnecessary complexity, and opportunities to improve the user experience.
• Recommend practical improvements that make workflows simpler, faster, and more reliable.

Hands-On Testing & Quality Assurance

• Use the products regularly and conduct end-to-end testing of key user journeys, including test orders.
• Reproduce defects, document issues clearly, and verify fixes before considering features complete.
• Confirm that delivered functionality addresses the original problem and meets agreed acceptance criteria.

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide concise, accurate updates to leadership, customers, partners, and engineering teams.
• Communicate decisions, progress, risks, and next steps clearly.
• Proactively address ambiguity and ensure stakeholders remain aligned throughout product delivery.

AI-Assisted Productivity

• Use AI-powered tools to support research, analysis, documentation, and requirements reviews.
• Critically assess AI-generated outputs to identify inaccuracies, gaps, or unsupported assumptions.
• Apply AI tools thoughtfully to improve productivity without compromising the quality of product decisions.
