While experience in this area is highly preferred, it is not mandatory. Job Summary The Principal Digital Product Manager plays a critical role representing the customer's voice throughout the product development lifecycle and user journey. Create and evangelize the vision and strategy for a portfolio of digital products, clearly articulate the "why" behind the product experiences, and own the digital product roadmaps. Bridge technology, business requirements, and customer needs to create remarkable digital experiences that satisfy user's jobs to be done, drive business value, and produce desired outcomes in a desirable, viable, and feasible manner. Collaborate with digital design, digital development, and data & analytics counterparts to align and coordinate efforts for effective delivery. Handles multiple initiatives at the same time and integrates them into a comprehensive plan. Develops the vision for a portfolio of product roadmaps. Owns and manages the product strategy, roadmap, and backlog prioritization for the portfolio. Manages multiple sources of intake and demand, sifts through the "noise" to determine priorities that will drive the best results. Serves as the designated point of contact for assigned digital products for both internal and external customers. Meets regularly with consumers, clinicians, business stakeholders, and technical counterparts. Participates in the development of objectives and key results (OKRs) to inform business priorities and align with digital product efforts. Accountable for product strategy success in support of key results. Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and qualitative feedback to iteratively improve performance of digital products. Coordinate with other Product Managers to ensure cross-product alignment. Identify and navigate appropriate tradeoffs and compromises for iterative and continuous delivery of value. Familiar with the potential application of new technologies, market trends, and vendor capabilities. References the inventory of existing digital capabilities and determines whether they can solve identified problems or if new capabilities are needed. Participates in build, buy, or partner evaluations and vendor integration evaluations in collaboration with digital design, digital development, and other stakeholders. Familiar with department and company strategy and competitive position, and develops a holistic product vision and the corresponding product strategy to drive maximum value. Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions across audiences, and lead demonstrations of digital products to key stakeholders. Delivers well-received presentations of cost, benefits, risks, and other considerations. Secures commitment for decisions by communicating clearly and credibly to stakeholders. Uses multiple presentation tools and techniques, adapting/fitting them to audience and topic. Leads market research efforts. Proactively reviews peer and competitor digital landscape. Deep familiarity with themes, trends, and emerging technologies. Facilitates discovery sprints and curates insights from user and usability testing, surveys, interviews, and analytics as it pertains to end-to-end digital experiences. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred. 7 years of experience in product management 5 years experience with agile development methodology 5 years in the Healthcare Industry Knowledge of software development lifecycle, from planning to delivery Product management certification preferred.
