Who We’re Looking For

We're looking for a highly organized, resilient and proactive Outbound Sales Development Representative who enjoys outbound sales activity and building relationships with prospective clients.

This role is focused almost entirely on outbound prospecting. You'll spend the majority of your time making calls, sending emails, engaging prospects, and building relationships with decision-makers at target organizations.

Success in this role is not measured by closing deals. Instead, you'll be responsible for consistently creating opportunities and introducing interested prospects to our senior sales team at the appropriate time.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the challenge of outbound sales and prospecting and takes satisfaction from opening doors and creating opportunities rather than managing the full sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct consistent, high-quality outbound prospecting through phone, email and LinkedIn to engage prospects within target accounts

  • Build early-stage relationships through consultative conversations, timely follow-up and professional prospect engagement

  • Qualify early interest and create demand for Fliplet’s products and services

  • Book qualified meetings for the sales team and maintain accurate HubSpot records

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role will primarily be measured by:

  • Consistent outbound activity levels across calls, emails and LinkedIn outreach

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with target prospects

  • Number of qualified meetings booked for the sales team

  • Conversion of prospects from initial contact to sales conversations

  • CRM accuracy and completeness

  • Responsiveness and quality of follow-up activity

  • Contribution to pipeline generation

The primary objective of this role is to create opportunities and introductions for the sales team through focused and consistent outbound prospecting.

Personal Attributes & Experience

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in outbound sales, business development, lead generation, recruitment or another role involving proactive outreach

  • Comfortable making outbound calls, starting conversations with new prospects and following a structured outreach process

  • Experience working towards activity, quality or performance targets and maintaining accurate records in a CRM system

  • Confident speaking with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, senior management and department leads across areas such as IT, marketing and events

  • Able to understand different industries, organizational structures and buying groups in order to identify relevant decision-makers

  • Experience selling software, technology or B2B services is helpful, but not essential

Attributes & Skills

  • Confident, proactive and resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and keep momentum

  • Naturally personable and conversational, with the ability to create warmth, trust and interest quickly over the phone

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt their style to different audiences, from IT and marketing teams to senior decision-makers

  • Able to hold consultative conversations, identify relevant needs and create interest in a follow-up meeting

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and disciplined in follow-up activity

  • Self-motivated, coachable and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Curious and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in outbound prospecting, relationship-building and creating new commercial opportunities

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience selling into legal, professional services or enterprise organizations

  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM

  • Experience with SaaS or technology businesses

  • Experience conducting high-volume outbound prospecting
