About Sellers Dorsey
Sellers Dorsey is a healthcare impact strategy firm focused on improving care access, quality, and outcomes for our nation’s most vulnerable populations. We work with providers, managed care organizations, state entities, and others, to design, implement, fund, and optimize sustainable programs that deliver maximum impact to underserved communities. Built on decades of experience in Medicaid, our team includes former state Medicaid directors, healthcare policy experts, health plan execs, and hospital leaders who know how to navigate the complexities of the system and find creative, impactful solutions that drive the greatest impact for the individuals and communities that need it most.
About the Role
Sellers Dorsey is seeking an Operations Delivery Specialist who will support the day-to-day execution of Product & Technology (P&T) engagements, including Design/Build analytics and visualization projects, SaaS application delivery, and state or regional initiatives that pair professional services with technology enablement. As the Operations Delivery Specialist working under the direction of the Associate Director, Operations & Delivery, you will keep project plans, status reporting, and resource information accurate and current, coordinate action items and hand-offs across teams and help standardize how P&T runs delivery. Success is measured by the accuracy and timeliness of delivery data, the consistency of project documentation and reporting, and how reliably the Specialist surfaces risks, blockers, and scope changes before they affect commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Execution & Project Coordination:
Coordinate day-to-day execution on assigned engagements: maintain project plans, track milestones and deliverables, and follow up on action items, dependencies, and deadlines.
Maintain RAID logs (risks, actions, issues, decisions), change requests, and decision records, follow up with owners to keep items moving, and flag risks, blockers, and scope changes to the Associate Director early.
Schedule and coordinate project meetings: prepare agendas and materials, capture and distribute notes and action items, and follow through on status.
Apply P&T delivery standards for scheduling, estimation, change control, and tracking consistently across assigned work.
Smartsheet Management, Reporting & Dashboards:
Build, update, and maintain Smartsheet project plans, trackers, reports, and dashboards that serve as the system of record for P&T delivery, including sheets, forms, workflows, automations, and templates that reflect current scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Produce recurring status reports, RAG summaries, and milestone and capacity views for the Associate Director and P&T leadership.
Check data for accuracy and consistency across sheets, reports, and dashboards, and correct issues at the source.
Maintain column, naming, and report standards across workspaces.
Maintain formulas and cross-sheet references, manage sharing and permissions, and troubleshoot basic configuration issues.
Cross-Functional & Client Coordination:
Serve as a working-level point of contact between delivery teams and partners in Product, Finance, Legal, Growth, and Client Success.
Coordinate stakeholder communications with internal and external partners: draft status updates and correspondence, prepare meeting materials, and follow up on commitments.
Help carry post-sale hand-offs and onboarding steps through to completion.
Process Documentation & Operational Improvement:
Draft and maintain SOPs, templates, checklists, and playbooks that standardize delivery and operations work.
Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, or gaps in existing workflows and bring recommendations for process, template, or tool improvements to the Associate Director.
Support the rollout of approved changes and gather feedback on what works.
Apply approved AI capabilities in your own delivery and operations work, and help design and implement AI-enabled workflows for P&T and with partner teams, documenting prompts, templates, and usage guidance to support adoption.
Resource, Capacity & Business Operations Support:
Maintain resource allocation, availability, and time-off views and prepare capacity inputs for staffing and prioritization discussions.
Track team hours against project plans and allocations and flag variances to the Associate Director.
Support special projects and other P&T operational initiatives as assigned.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent professional experience considered.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or PMI Project Management Ready certification; PMP when eligible, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
2+ years in project coordination, project management support, a PMO, business operations, or delivery support, in a consulting, professional services, or technology environment.
Working proficiency in Smartsheet or a comparable project management platform, including plans, reports, and dashboards.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once with guidance from a manager.
Clear written and verbal communication, including concise status updates and meeting follow-up.
Strong attention to detail and a habit of checking data before it is shared.
Comfortable drafting and maintaining SOPs, templates, and process documentation.
Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban approaches, and the judgment to apply the right one to a given project.
Experience at a public health (government, private/non-profit) or healthcare organization (provider, payor, biotech, etc.) preferred.
Experience supporting consulting engagements, state or government-funded programs, or SaaS delivery preferred.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools preferred.
Hands-on use of Claude or similar AI tools to support documentation and reporting preferred.
Critical Professional related Technical & Computer Skills
Working proficiency in Smartsheet for planning, reporting, dependency tracking, and dashboards, including forms, workflows, automations, formulas, cross-sheet references, and permissions.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
Familiarity with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project and Asana is a plus.
Comfort learning new tools quickly, including Claude and Microsoft 365 AI capabilities.
Other Requirements
Sound judgment with confidential and sensitive information; strict adherence to HIPAA, data-handling, and firm AI governance policies.
Follow through reliably and escalate issues early rather than waiting for them to grow.
