Position Summary

Recor Medical is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Microsoft 365 Solutions Administrator to serve as the primary administrator and business solutions partner for the organization's Microsoft 365 collaboration and automation platforms. This individual will lead the administration, governance, enhancement, and adoption of SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform while partnering with business stakeholders to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and modernize business processes. This is a technical role.

Responsibilities and Duties

Microsoft 365 Collaboration Platform Administration

  • Administer and maintain SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, and related configurations in alignment with established standards; oversee ongoing maintenance to keep the environment healthy

  • Monitor SharePoint Online for glitches, errors, and performance issues; troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly to minimize disruption to users

  • Manage and revise the layout and structure of SharePoint sites; customize sites and pages to meet company and departmental needs

  • Analyze user activity on SharePoint to identify trends, usage patterns, and opportunities for improvement

  • Maintain accurate records of SharePoint updates, maintenance actions, and activity for audit and reporting purposes

  • Report to IT management with regular updates on SharePoint health, usage, and areas for improvement

  • Provide technical support to SharePoint users; address questions and concerns from end users, business owners, and directors regarding platform functionality

  • Maintain SharePoint security, including controlling unwanted file sharing and ensuring user activity remains within company policy

  • Support content organization and metadata management, including content types, managed metadata, term stores, and site structure

  • Help business teams with document management — organizing, structuring, and maintaining content in SharePoint Online

  • Consult with business teams to understand their goals and identify the most effective ways to apply SharePoint to meet their needs

  • Hold training sessions and informational workshops to teach employees how to use SharePoint effectively

  • Keep current on Microsoft updates to SharePoint Online and communicate relevant changes to IT leadership and affected users

  • Integrate other Microsoft 365 and third-party tools with SharePoint Online as needed to extend platform capabilities

  • Apply and maintain approved permissions, sharing settings, and information protection controls in coordination with IT leadership and compliance stakeholders

  • Support content migration and cleanup activities using approved tools and processes such as SPMT or Sharegate

  • Administer additional Microsoft 365 cloud applications alongside other IT administrators as needed

Power Platform Solution Development & Automation

  • Build and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate solutions to support business process improvements

  • Develop and support Power Automate flows for common business workflows, approvals, notifications, and data updates

  • Support Power BI report publishing, refresh monitoring, and basic workspace administration as needed

  • Assist with administration of Power Platform environments and help maintain approved governance controls and DLP policies

  • Extend solutions with Power Pages for internal or external portal use cases where applicable

  • Troubleshoot issues with existing Power Platform solutions and coordinate fixes with business stakeholders

Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Administer environments in accordance with organizational security and compliance requirements.

  • Maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and governance standards.

  • Manage retention, sensitivity labeling, records management, and information protection controls.

  • Maintain an inventory of business applications, workflows, automations, owners, and support documentation

Technical Collaboration & Documentation

  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for SharePoint Online and Power Platform-related requests

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leadership to implement approved technical solutions

  • Maintain documentation for SharePoint and Power Platform configurations, solutions, and standard operating procedures

  • Support testing and rollout of approved Microsoft 365 feature enhancements

Requirements

  • 4+ years of SharePoint Online administration and support in a Microsoft 365 environment

  • 3+ years of Power Platform experience, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate

  • Practical experience managing permissions, site configurations, libraries, and user support in SharePoint Online

  • Familiarity with PowerShell for Microsoft 365 administration tasks

  • Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and implement practical technical solutions

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 admin tools, including the SharePoint and Power Platform admin centers

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve platform issues independently

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

  • Detail-oriented with a security-conscious mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) customization using TypeScript and/or React

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API for M365 administrative tasks

  • Experience building custom Power Automate connectors or HTTP-triggered flows

  • Microsoft certifications: MS-102 (M365 Administrator), PL-200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant), PL-400, or PL-600, or equivalent

  • Exposure to Microsoft Purview information protection features (retention labels, sensitivity labels)

  • Experience with Dataverse, Microsoft Graph API, SPFx, CoE Toolkit, ALM, Azure integrations, and Copilot governance

  • Experience with SharePoint Syntex or Viva Connections

  • Background in a regulated industry (medical device, life sciences, or healthcare) with awareness of compliance requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, or 21 CFR Part 11

Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 (Annual Base Salary)

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

Certain field-based roles at Recor Medical require work in environments where radiation sources (e.g., x-ray equipment) are in use. Employees in these roles will be issued a personal dosimetry badge to monitor occupational exposure and are required to wear it in accordance with company policy and applicable regulatory standards. This program is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to maintain radiation exposure at levels that are As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA). Additional guidance and protective equipment, as necessary, will be provided as part of onboarding and ongoing safety training.
