Job Summary
The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing function, develop and deliver the marketing strategy, and manage the team’s priorities and performance. The role will strengthen Lumorus’s brand presence and generate qualified leads across its practices and services. Working closely with the Sales Manager and other marketing experts, the post holder will turn business priorities into coordinated campaigns and measure their contribution to audience growth, enquiries and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Planning
Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with Lumorus’s commercial priorities.
Define target audiences, campaign objectives, value proposition, differentiators and messaging for each practice and service.
Plan marketing activity and propose budgets, channel choices and resource requirements.
Develop launch plans for new services, products and programmes, including positioning, promotional activity and sales readiness.
Team Leadership and Delivery
Manage the assigned marketing team, including interns, with clear responsibilities and deadlines.
Review content and creative work, provide feedback and support team development.
Coordinate work with practice leads, external suppliers and other departments
Brand, Content and Thought Leadership
Maintain consistent messaging and visual identity in line with Lumorus’s brand guidelines.
Oversee content calendars, website content, case studies, newsletters and marketing materials.
Work with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content and promote webinars and podcasts.
Campaigns and Digital Marketing
Plan and oversee campaigns across LinkedIn, email, the website and other relevant channels.
Coordinate SEO, audience engagement and website improvements with the relevant teams.
Review campaign performance and adjust content, targeting and channel activity.
Lead Generation and Sales Alignment
Agree lead qualification criteria and handover arrangements with the Sales Manager.
Develop campaigns and sales materials that support prospect engagement and conversion.
Use sales feedback to improve targeting, messaging and lead quality.
Performance, Systems and Budget Control
Track marketing KPIs and report results, costs and recommendations to leadership.
Manage expenditure within approved budgets and assess campaign return on investment.
Maintain documented workflows and use approved analytics, CRM and automation tools.
Requirements
A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Master’s degree would be an added advantage
Minimum 5 years’ relevant digital marketing experience, including team leadership and campaign management.
Working knowledge of SEO, content marketing, email marketing and social media, particularly LinkedIn.
Strong writing, editing and stakeholder communication skills, with good judgement on brand and content quality.
Ability to interpret marketing data, manage budgets and organise concurrent projects in a remote team.
Hands-on experience with the Zoho Suite, particularly Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, Zoho Social and Zoho Analytics, including campaign reporting and coordination with Sales.
Experience in B2B marketing, preferably within consultancy, professional services or technology.
Ability to conduct market research and competitor analysis, define target client segments and develop clear service or product positioning.
Understanding of marketing automation, lead nurturing and sales funnels, with experience connecting marketing activity to qualified opportunities and revenue.
Ability to present plans, performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the board
Desirable Skills & Attributes

Experience developing thought leadership campaigns and positioning senior leaders as credible industry voices.

Professional marketing certifications or membership of a recognised marketing body.
