Marketing Generalist

Wiser Solutions is a suite of in-store and eCommerce intelligence and execution tools. We're on a mission to enable brands, retailers, and retail channel partners to gather intelligence and automate actions to optimize pricing, marketing, and operations initiatives, both in-store and online.

We're a B2B SaaS company in the pricing and market intelligence space, serving brands, retailers, and e-commerce operators. We're hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to own the engine that turns demand into pipeline and to be a genuine builder across the rest of marketing as we scale.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can both set direction and do the work. You'll own demand generation end to end, drive our organic visibility across traditional search and AI answer engines, run campaigns in HubSpot and lean into brand and content projects alongside the team. If you like owning a number, shipping the work yourself and having range across the marketing stack, this is built for you.

You'll report to the Senior Director of Marketing and work closely with Product Marketing, Design, and a six-person sales team that depends on the pipeline you help create.

What you'll do

Demand generation (the core of the role)

• Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Marketing to plan and run multi-channel campaigns — email, paid search and social, webinars, and account-based programs that generate qualified pipeline.
• Own marketing's pipeline contribution: work with Sr. Director of Marketing to hit MQL and pipeline targets, and report on conversion from first touch through to sales handoff.
• Report on paid media spend alongside agency partner across channels, optimizing for cost-per-lead and pipeline efficiency.
• Build and maintain lead nurture, scoring and lifecycle flows that move contacts from interest to sales-ready.

SEO & GEO (organic visibility)

• Own organic search strategy alongside the Sr. Director of Marketing across both traditional SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO) — getting our content cited inside AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews.
• Drive on-page, technical, and content SEO: topical authority, structured data, optimization and site health.

Marketing operations & HubSpot

• Build, launch, and measure your own campaigns in HubSpot - workflows, landing pages, forms, segmentation and reporting.
• Maintain clean attribution so we can tie marketing activity to pipeline and revenue.
• You don't need to be a full-time ops specialist, but you should be fluent enough to run your own programs without waiting on anyone.

Brand, content & the broader marketing stack

• Lean into brand marketing and content projects — messaging, campaigns and assets — in partnership with Product Marketing and Design.
• Take on the range of projects a growing marketing team needs: whatever moves the business, you're willing to own a piece of it.
• Help shape a marketing voice that sounds human and direct, not templated.

What you bring

• 3-4+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with demonstrable demand-gen results tied to pipeline (not just activity).
• Hands-on HubSpot proficiency — you've built campaigns, workflows and reporting yourself.
• Real SEO experience, plus genuine curiosity and early experience with GEO / AI-search visibility (this is a fast-moving area; we want someone leaning into it).
• Comfort operating as both strategist and executor - you can plan a quarter and also ship the work.
• Strong analytical instincts: you're fluent in the metrics that connect marketing to revenue and you make decisions from data.
• Clear, direct writing and communication.

Nice to have

• Experience marketing to brands, retailers, CPG, or e-commerce / retail-tech buyers.
• Account-based marketing (ABM) experience.
• Paid media management across Google, LinkedIn and paid social.
• Fluency using AI tools to work faster and produce more across content, SEO, and campaigns.

• Marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline against target.
• MQL→SQL conversion and lead quality
• Organic visibility growth across both traditional search and AI answer engines.
• Channel efficiency - cost-per-lead and pipeline ROI trending the right way.
