Market Development Representative

Summary:

We are actively hiring a full-time Market Development Representative to partner with our Growth and Marketing teams in generating top-line revenue for our Post-Acute and Physician Practice Businesses. As a Market Development Representative, you will conduct strategic segment and account research to understand the unique challenges our customers face, identify and connect with prospects, and communicate how Bamboo Health can help address those challenges.

You will be involved in launching and operationalizing Bamboo Health’s AI MDR solution. This cutting-edge platform will augment outreach, automate early engagement, and enhance lead qualification, enabling you to work more efficiently and strategically. You will collaborate closely with the Product Marketing and Growth teams to refine system workflows, optimize messaging, and provide feedback to ensure the AI MDR system continues to evolve in alignment with our go-to-market strategy.

You’ll receive ongoing training and market insights to support your success and the tools necessary to identify opportunities and drive market growth in your segment(s).

What You’ll Do:

• Generate pipeline through discovery and customized outreach targeting uniquely identified contacts for each account.
• Demonstrate the ability to interact with daily operators and executives while conducting conversations touching on all aspects of the daily workflows and high-level strategic objectives of an organization.
• Work closely with the growth team on segment strategy, messaging and persona-centric value propositions, qualification criteria, and overall strategic account planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with prospects and use tech stack to effectively manage long-term and ongoing interactions with high value prospects.
• Support the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—while aligning solutions to prospect goals and ensuring all required information is represented in SFDC.
• Identify repetitive tasks and partner with team leads to implement scalable automation solutions to streamline work within your function.

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

• You will learn about the current state of healthcare, Bamboo Health’s value proposition, and product-market fit with our solutions.
• You will effectively leverage sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn, Definitive, Salesloft, Clay) to enhance productivity and results and manage a Business Development process demonstrating the ability to work cross functionally with marketing and sales.
• You will assist with the launch of Bamboo Health’s AI MDR platform to automate outreach, qualify leads, and improve messaging in collaboration with Growth and Product Marketing teams.

In 6 months…

• You will consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation expectations.
• You will partner effectively with Market Development Directors to refine outreach strategies and improve segment performance.
• You will demonstrate effective use of AI-enabled tools to improve prospecting efficiency and engagement quality.

In 12 months...

• You will be well-versed in the healthcare/care coordination space, understand where Bamboo Health fits into the landscape, and can deliver a strong, polished pitch while navigating complex prospect questions.
• You will achieve outbound meeting booking targets that drive opportunity generation.
• You will influence outreach strategy by sharing market insights, prospect feedback, and AI-driven learnings.

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of similar professional experience in a business-to-business environment (preferably healthcare and/or tech).
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
• Comfort using or learning AI-supported tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Letter AI, or role-specific tools) to improve daily workflows.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both operational and executive-level stakeholders.
• A forward-thinking, curious mindset with an openness to experimenting with new technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and creativity in designing solutions.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions. 
• The ability to travel periodically for work.
