Location: Remote. At this time, we are hiring in the Philadelphia, Denver, Portland, or Seattle areas.

Travel: Up to 10% travel, may fall outside of normal business hours.
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 annually, depending on experience
Experience Level: 3+ years in digital or growth marketing

What You’ll Do

As Mile6’s Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll lead performance-focused marketing programs that turn attention into qualified leads, retained audiences, and measurable growth.

Paid search will be your strongest discipline. You’ll own campaign strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting across platforms such as Google Ads and Social Media Advertising. You’ll also bring strong SEO and content marketing capabilities, helping Mile6 and our clients build sustainable organic visibility alongside paid acquisition.


This is a hands-on role for a curious generalist who enjoys connecting campaigns, search intent, content, landing pages, analytics, and user behavior. You’ll continually test new ways to improve results, from ad copy and keyword strategies to landing-page headlines, calls to action, and conversion paths.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and optimize paid search strategies that generate qualified leads and support measurable business growth.
  • Own paid search campaigns from planning through reporting, including account structure, keyword research, audience targeting, ad creation, bidding, budgeting, testing, and ongoing optimization.
  • Manage advertising budgets responsibly, monitor pacing, and make data-informed decisions to improve return on ad spend and cost per qualified lead.
  • Build clear performance reports that connect campaign activity to leads, pipeline, revenue, and client goals.
  • Diagnose campaign performance issues and identify opportunities across targeting, messaging, landing pages, offers, and conversion paths.
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies that improve organic visibility, qualified traffic, and conversions.
  • Conduct keyword, competitor, technical, and content-gap research to guide SEO priorities.
  • Partner with writers, designers, developers, and subject matter experts to plan and produce useful, search-informed content.
  • Write, edit, and optimize marketing content, including landing pages, articles, campaign messaging, headlines, calls to action, and lead-generation assets.
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar aligned with audience needs, search opportunities, campaigns, and business priorities.
  • Develop a growing conversion-rate optimization practice across Mile6 and client engagements.
  • Plan and run A/B tests for landing-page copy, headlines, calls to action, forms, offers, page structures, and other conversion elements.
  • Form clear testing hypotheses, define success metrics, document results, and turn findings into actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to create and improve high-performing landing pages and digital conversion experiences.
  • Ensure analytics, advertising pixels, conversion events, and campaign tracking are implemented accurately.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to understand visitor behavior and identify friction throughout the lead journey.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their businesses, audiences, sales processes, goals, and definitions of a qualified lead.
  • Communicate proactively with clients about performance, insights, recommendations, risks, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with Mile6’s Growth, Strategy, Product, Design, and Development teams to connect marketing execution with broader business and digital product goals.
  • Support new-business opportunities by contributing to marketing audits, proposals, estimates, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Improve Mile6’s internal marketing processes, templates, documentation, reporting, and quality standards.
  • Stay current on changes to search platforms, SEO practices, analytics, privacy expectations, AI-assisted marketing, and conversion optimization.
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate research, analysis, content development, experimentation, and campaign operations while maintaining accuracy, originality, and human judgment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, performance marketing, or a related role.
  • Advanced, hands-on expertise managing paid search campaigns, particularly through Google Ads and Social Media.
  • Demonstrated success improving qualified lead volume, cost per acquisition, conversion rates, and return on advertising investment.
  • Strong understanding of keyword strategy, campaign architecture, bidding, budgets, audiences, ad testing, attribution, and conversion tracking.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO, including content strategy, on-page optimization, keyword research, search intent, internal linking, and foundational technical SEO.
  • Experience developing and optimizing content that supports both search visibility and business goals.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with particular strength in concise, persuasive headlines, advertisements, landing pages, and calls to action.
  • Experience with landing-page optimization, conversion-rate optimization, or structured marketing experimentation.
  • Ability to turn data and user behavior into clear hypotheses, recommendations, and priorities.
  • Familiarity with analytics, tag management, search reporting, heat-mapping, session-recording, or A/B testing platforms.
  • Ability to explain marketing performance clearly to clients and teammates with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, clients, and priorities.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach to working with strategists, designers, developers, sales professionals, and client stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to question assumptions and continually improve how work gets done.
  • Agency experience is strongly preferred.

Bonus Points

  • Experience marketing B2B services, SaaS products, digital products, or complex buying journeys.
  • Experience with Microsoft Advertising, LinkedIn Ads, paid social, or other performance channels.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Data Studio, and call-tracking platforms.
  • Experience with marketing automation, CRM systems, lead scoring, or revenue attribution.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, content management systems, and landing-page builders.
  • Experience using platforms such as VWO, Optimizely, Convert, Hotjar, or Lucky Orange.
  • Relevant Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEO, or conversion optimization certifications.
