Bidgely is seeking an experienced independent FP&A consultant to evaluate and upgrade our financial-modeling and reporting infrastructure.
This is a hands-on consulting engagement focused on strengthening our existing financial model, automating recurring reporting, improving the connection between commercial and financial data, and providing targeted strategic analysis to executive leadership.
Bidgely is an enterprise SaaS company with long sales cycles, high annual contract values, implementation-intensive deployments, and multiyear customer agreements. The successful consultant will bring deep enterprise SaaS experience and the technical ability to build sophisticated, durable financial tools—not simply adapt generic templates.
Audit existing financial models, reporting tools, assumptions, and data dependencies.
Design and construct a clean, fully integrated, driver-based three-statement operating model in Excel or Google Sheets.
Incorporate enterprise sales cycles, implementation timing, phased launches, deferred revenue, and multiyear contract structures.
Document key assumptions, inputs, calculations, and model-maintenance procedures.
Design a standardized monthly flash-report package covering financial performance, cash, forecasts, and relevant SaaS metrics.
Develop repeatable quarterly board-reporting templates with clear, automated data visualizations.
Reduce manual reporting effort and improve the consistency, transparency, and reliability of financial outputs.
Establish documentation and processes enabling the internal Finance team to maintain the completed reporting infrastructure.
Evaluate the existing flow of information between RevOps, CRM pipeline data, implementation timelines, and revenue-recognition forecasting.
Recommend and implement practical improvements to the Closed Won-to-financial-forecast workflow.
Reduce manual handling, duplicated inputs, and model fragility.
Develop targeted analyses addressing areas such as:
Unit economics and margin performance
ASP and pricing trends
Customer-level profitability
Performance by geography, product, or segment
Sales capacity and quota alignment
Cash runway and hiring scenarios
Growth-versus-profitability trade-offs
Translate financial findings into clear, data-supported recommendations for executive leadership.
Identify material financial risks, opportunities, and sensitivities.
Advise on customer profitability, cash management, resource allocation, and commission-structure alignment.
Present recommendations and supporting analyses to relevant executive stakeholders.
At least seven years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or related advisory work.
At least three years of direct enterprise B2B SaaS experience.
At least two years of investment-banking experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience building fully integrated, driver-based three-statement financial models from the ground up.
Strong understanding of ASC 606, deferred revenue, annual and multiyear SaaS contracts, and implementation-dependent revenue forecasting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Experience working with CRM and financial systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or comparable platforms.
Experience developing executive and board-level financial reporting.
Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
Strong independent judgment and the confidence to test assumptions and identify weaknesses in existing models.
An established independent consulting practice or demonstrated history of providing comparable services to multiple clients is preferred.
This is an initial three-month independent consulting engagement centered on defined financial-modeling, reporting, automation, and advisory deliverables. The consultant will coordinate with designated Bidgely stakeholders while independently determining the appropriate methods and approach for completing the work.
Any material expansion of the project or follow-on support would be addressed through a separately agreed extension or statement of work.
Please provide:

A description of your experience with ASC 606 and complex enterprise revenue forecasting

Confidential or proprietary client materials should not be submitted. Sanitized examples or summaries of prior work are welcome.
