is a sales professional responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for a company by researching potential clients, qualifying leads, establishing relationships with prospective customers, and working with the sales team to expand the client base and achieve revenue targets; essentially acting as the first point of contact for potential customers through outbound prospecting methods like cold calling and email outreach.
Business Development Representatives work to generate new opportunities for our business. The BDR role can assist sales by finding contacts and proactively coordinating outbound outreach. Main duties include designing plans that targets new client acquisition, developing and cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and securing meetings for our sales teams. Effectively communicating internally with our sales department is a key facet.
