This role will focus on the United States, with US-based candidates preferred. The ideal candidate is a sales professional with strong channel experience in the US market, established connections within the US MSP channel community, a consultative approach to partner development, and the ability to help MSP partners bring Cyber Resilience solutions to market successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for Sherweb’s Cyber Resilience portfolio, including Security and Continuity products and services.
- Act as an internal and external champion for Sherweb’s Cyber Resilience Marketplace, helping partners understand where security, continuity, compliance, and resilience solutions fit into their go-to-market strategy.
- Own and grow a focused territory across the United States, with a strong understanding of the US channel landscape.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with MSP, VAR, and ITSP partners, with a focus on high-growth Cyber Resilience target accounts.
- Build and maintain direct relationships with partner security, technical, compliance, and business stakeholders while collaborating closely with CAMs on commercial relationships.
- Lead consultative discovery, stakeholder mapping, product positioning, pricing discussions, bundling presentations, and opportunity development for Cyber Resilience deals.
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, including accurate opportunity stages, close dates, values, forecast percentages, engagement notes, and next steps.
- Partner with CAMs through regular account planning and pipeline reviews to align on target accounts, expansion strategy, stalled opportunities, and forecast accuracy.
- Stay current on Cyber Resilience marketplace products, compliance and regulatory frameworks, AI governance trends, and evolving partner needs.
- Travel as required within the United States to support partner relationship development, site visits, events, and consultative Cyber Resilience engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience in business development, channel sales, partner development, or a related sales role, preferably within cybersecurity, continuity, cloud, or managed services.
- 2+ years of experience working in an indirect sales model with MSPs, VARs, ITSPs, or similar channel partners.
- Proven experience selling into or supporting partners across the United States; established relationships and active connections within the US channel community are a strong asset.
- Experience building relationships with MSPs, VARs, ITSPs, vendors, distributors, community leaders, or ecosystem partners within the US channel community is preferred.
- Experience with Cyber Resilience solutions such as EPP, MDR, XDR, email security, password management, compliance, identity, backup, disaster recovery, or business continuity solutions is preferred.
- Strong understanding of security, continuity, compliance, and resilience trends, including how MSPs operationalize these solutions for SMB customers.
- Working knowledge of foundational compliance and regulatory frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, FTC guidelines, HIPAA, PCI, or similar frameworks is an asset.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, building pipeline, managing forecasts, and developing partner relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Desired Traits:
- You are a proactive relationship builder who can create trust with technical, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- You think like an owner and treat your target accounts as a personal book of business, driving prospecting, discovery, follow-up, and revenue development with discipline.
- You are consultative and curious, able to understand a partner’s operating model, uncover resilience gaps, and recommend practical next steps without leading with a product pitch.
- You learn quickly and adapt fast to an ever-changing environment across security, continuity, compliance, AI, and channel sales.
- You are autonomous, organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities, stakeholders, and territory priorities at once.
- You are confident presenting clearly and with authority, whether in a one-to-one partner meeting, a CAM sync, a webinar, or an in-person event.
- You understand the importance of CRM hygiene, forecast accuracy, documented next steps, and timely follow-up.
- You have a customer-centric and partner-first approach, with a strong interest in advanced technologies and how MSPs can use them to grow resilient, profitable practices.
