  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with reseller partners, solution providers, and vendor stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities, whitespace accounts, and growth areas within existing partner portfolios.
  • Leverage sales, performance, and market data to uncover trends, optimize partner performance, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Enable partners on technology solutions, programs, incentives, and go-to-market strategies to accelerate customer adoption.
  • Collaborate with vendor representatives and internal sales teams to develop pipeline, execute growth plans, and close opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partner leadership to assess performance, align priorities, and identify growth initiatives.
  • Support partners in positioning technology solutions that address customer business challenges and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and other cross-functional teams to execute campaigns and business development initiatives.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform growth strategies.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting while consistently working toward revenue targets.
  • Travel as needed to build partner relationships, participate in customer meetings, attend industry events, and support business growth activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, channel sales, partner management, account management, or technology sales.
  • Experience working within the IT channel ecosystem, including technology vendors, distributors, resellers, or solution providers.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement environments, including Federal, State, Local Government, Education, and/or Healthcare markets.
  • Proven ability to develop partner relationships and drive measurable business growth.
  • Strong consultative selling and account planning skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and executing within a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and executive-level relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across sales, marketing, operations, and external partner organizations.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting public sector technology customers, partners, or vendors.
  • Familiarity with cloud, cybersecurity, data and AI, networking, collaboration, infrastructure, or modern workplace technologies.

  • Understanding of government purchasing vehicles, contracts, purchasing cooperatives, and public sector procurement processes.
  • Experience conducting executive business reviews, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Knowledge of channel sales motions, indirect routes to market, and partner-led go-to-market strategies.
