This role involves product research, service documentation, demonstrations, enablement content, field support, and feedback collection. As experience grows, the Associate Product Manager will independently manage workstreams and routine decisions within a defined scope, always guided by the Product Manager. Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Research

  • Research assigned aspects of a product or service offering, including customer problems, market trends, competitor approaches, partner capabilities, delivery dependencies, and commercial considerations.
  • Support product lifecycle activities, including ideation, customer and market validation, business case development, roadmap planning, launch readiness, adoption monitoring, and enhancement recommendations.
  • Participate in customer discovery sessions, customer interviews, feedback programs, and Voice of the Customer initiatives. Synthesize findings into documented needs, use cases, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze product performance, customer adoption trends, usage metrics, and market insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements, service improvements, and future roadmap recommendations.

Product Definition & Portfolio Management

  • Draft product definition components, including use cases, qualification criteria, service boundaries, assumptions, requirements, launch checklists, FAQs, and internal product guides.
  • Support the definition and maintenance of managed service offerings, including Cloud, Digital Transformation Services, AMS, Software Factory, Platforms, Service Desk, and AA Discovery, by gathering input from Product Operations, Presales, Delivery teams, partners, Centers of Excellence, and subject matter experts.
  • Assist the Product Manager in identifying opportunities to integrate managed services with cybersecurity, connectivity, cloud, and platform solutions to create differentiated customer offerings.
  • Maintain assigned product backlogs and enhancement requests, including requirements, priorities, dependencies, decisions, and status updates using approved product management tools.

Product Launch & Sales Enablement

  • Develop initial drafts of sales and enablement materials and collaborate with Product Marketing to create one-pagers, battle cards, presentations, training materials, and other sales assets.
  • Coordinate solution demonstrations by documenting scenarios, capabilities, partner contributions, required environments, talk tracks, customization recommendations, and ownership of dependencies.
  • Track launch readiness and assist cross-functional teams with product communications, training plans, and go-to-market activities.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support Solution Engineers and field teams by addressing product-related inquiries, documenting recurring issues and enhancement requests, and escalating strategic decisions to the Product Manager when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Presales, Product Marketing, Product Operations, Delivery, Customer Success, and partner organizations to support successful product launches and portfolio improvements.
  • Establish ongoing feedback loops with Sales, Presales, Product Operations, Delivery teams, customers, and partners. Translate feedback into recurring themes, documented insights, and actionable recommendations.

Product Analytics & Continuous Improvement

  • Track launch readiness, customer adoption, feedback, and product performance metrics. Analyze data, identify gaps, and summarize improvement opportunities for the Product Manager.
  • Monitor product success metrics and support recommendations that improve customer value, operational efficiency, user adoption, and portfolio performance.

Product Operations & Governance

  • Maintain accurate product records, decision logs, artifacts, source materials, and follow-up actions to ensure stakeholders have access to current and reliable information.
  • Ensure product documentation, requirements, decisions, and supporting materials are properly maintained and accessible.

Ownership & Professional Development

  • Own assigned product initiatives, research activities, and enhancement projects under the guidance of the Product Manager.
  • Independently manage deliverables, timelines, stakeholder communications, and documentation within approved scope.
  • Demonstrate increasing ownership and accountability for assigned product workstreams while escalating strategic or higher-risk decisions as needed.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • One to three years of experience in product management, product operations, business analysis, technology consulting, solutions support, program delivery, or a related role. Relevant internships or project experience may be considered in lieu of some professional experience.
  • Experience researching business or technology challenges and translating incomplete information into structured recommendations, presentations, or documentation.
  • Exposure to B2B technology or professional services environments. Experience with managed services, cloud services, AI and automation, cybersecurity, or enterprise applications is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing presentations, product documentation, sales materials, training content, or research summaries.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical, commercial, delivery, and customer-facing stakeholders to understand service scope, dependencies, and customer value.
  • Experience supporting discovery sessions, demonstrations, implementations, customer success initiatives, service delivery, or sales engineering activities is preferred.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated above. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
