The Mission
We are looking for a Technical Product Manager who natively understands the mechanics of Web3 gamification, online gaming culture, and loot-based reward ecosystems.
We aren't looking for a corporate backlog manager who needs to be taught why unboxing feels addictive, how provably fair systems establish trust, or what makes a digital reward loop convert. We need a hands-on product builder who can take an ambitious concept, pressure-test it, and turn it into a product that users keep coming back to.
Your mission is to take full ownership of the product lifecycle for a Gamified Shopping Platform built around Mystery Packs and Physical Goods. You will shape the product roadmap, translate high-level business concepts into razor-sharp technical requirements, and work directly with Engineering and Design to bring the platform from concept to launch—and from launch to scale.
You will help design everything from mystery pack openings and battle modes to reward multipliers, crypto payments, affiliate systems, inventory logic, and physical redemption flows. You will also be responsible for understanding how these mechanics perform in the real world, using product data and user behavior to continuously improve engagement, conversion, retention, and profitability.
If you live at the intersection of online gaming culture, crypto-native mechanics, gamified commerce, and high-velocity product execution, this is your canvas.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Lifecycle Ownership: Own the product lifecycle from discovery and feature definition through technical delivery, launch, measurement, and iteration. Translate leadership’s vision into a focused roadmap with clear priorities, trade-offs, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Gamified Mechanics & Feature Architecture: Design, map, and prioritize core platform experiences, including mystery pack unboxings, case-style battles, item rarity tiers, reward multipliers, affiliate hooks, loyalty systems, digital inventories, and physical fulfillment flows. Balance user excitement with sustainable product economics (odds, reward values, house margins, inventory availability).
- 0-to-1 Product & Backlog Ownership: Build and maintain the product roadmap and technical backlog from scratch. Break complex product ideas into detailed user stories, technical acceptance criteria, system requirements, edge cases, and API dependencies that Engineering can execute without ambiguity.
- Provably Fair & Web3 Integration: Partner with Engineering to define and implement provably fair systems, crypto payment flows, wallet connections, blockchain interactions, and real-time Web3 or on-chain events.
- Product Discovery & Validation: Pressure-test assumptions before committing major engineering resources using competitive research, user feedback, rapid prototypes, product data, and controlled experiments. Stay close to the CS2, Web3 gaming, iGaming, collectibles, and gamified-commerce ecosystems.
- UX/UI & Product Design Collaboration: Guide Product Designers in creating intuitive, high-energy experiences that balance casino-style visual excitement with effortless e-commerce usability. Review user flows, Figma wireframes, and prototypes with a strong eye for conversion, clarity, pacing, and reward feedback.
- Cross-Functional Sprint Execution: Act as the central product hub between Engineering, Design, Operations, and Leadership. Keep sprint cycles moving quickly, remove ambiguity, resolve product blockers, and make decisive trade-offs when speed, scope, and technical complexity compete.
- Analytics & Product Optimization: Define success metrics for major features and use product data to evaluate launches (activation, conversion, engagement, repeat purchases, retention, reward behavior, redemption rates).
- Digital-to-Physical Redemption: Own the user experience connecting digital wins to physical goods. Collaborate with Operations and Engineering on inventory states, product availability, substitutions, shipping selections, vault functionality, redemption rules, and fulfillment edge cases.
Requirements
- Relevant Product Experience: Experience owning and shipping technical consumer products in at least one highly relevant environment:
- Web3 or crypto gaming
- iGaming or casino-style products
- CS2 skin economies or case-opening platforms
- Gamified marketplaces or e-commerce
- Digital collectibles or reward-based consumer applications (Direct product experience with CS2 skins, case opening, case battles, or mystery-box platforms is highly valuable, but we will also consider exceptional candidates from adjacent ecosystems who deeply understand these mechanics).
- Deep Familiarity with Unboxing & Odds Dynamics: You intuitively understand how case openings, case battles, item rarity tiers, reward multipliers, house edges, provably fair systems, and progression mechanics operate under the hood.
- Web3 & Crypto Literacy: Hands-on experience building or managing products involving crypto payments, wallet connections (MetaMask, Phantom), blockchain transactions, digital assets, or Web3 user flows.
- High Technical Competency: Strong understanding of modern web/mobile architecture, APIs, databases, authentication, event-driven systems, third-party integrations, and technical trade-offs.
- Strong Product Judgment: Ability to separate an exciting idea from a valuable product opportunity. You know how to evaluate features based on user value, business impact, technical effort, risk, and long-term product health.
- Data-Informed Execution: Experience defining product metrics, evaluating user behavior, and using quantitative and qualitative insights to improve a consumer product after launch.
- Startup / Scrappy Background: Experience working in fast-moving, low-process environments where priorities change, resources are limited, and speed matters.
- Location: Based in the United States, Canada, or Latin America and able to collaborate effectively with a distributed remote team.
Preferred Qualifications
- CS2 & Skin-Economy Experience: Professional or substantial personal familiarity with CS2 skins, Steam inventory systems, skin marketplaces, case-opening products, case battles, upgrades, trading, item pricing, or related monetization models.
- Physical & Digital Redemption Experience: Understanding of how digital rewards connect to physical shipping, vault inventory, marketplace fulfillment, returns, substitutions, or e-commerce operations.
- Keen Eye for Product Design: Strong visual taste and the ability to review Figma wireframes, user journeys, micro-interactions, and final designs through the lens of conversion rate optimization, usability, and reward psychology.
- Marketplace or Gaming-Economy Experience: Experience working with virtual economies, two-sided marketplaces, digital inventories, collectibles, loyalty systems, affiliate programs, or user-generated supply and demand.
- Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with the product and regulatory considerations surrounding randomized rewards, geographic restrictions, age controls, responsible gaming, crypto payments, and consumer protection.
