Summary: The Cause Partnerships Account Manager supports the growth of Blood Cancer United’s corporate cause partnerships and serves as a lead for National Account Management of retail campaign execution, partnership activation and campaign delivery.  Working closely with the Cause Partnerships Senior Director, Directors, and cross‑functional internal teams, this role is responsible for day‑to‑day partner management, campaign execution, and delivering exceptional service to advance partnership performance, mission impact, and revenue goals.  The Account Manager ensures operational excellence across assigned accounts while supporting the stewardship of six‑figure and emerging corporate partners.  

Core Responsibilities  

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of corporate cause partners, overseeing all aspects of partnership activation and campaign delivery. 
  • Support the execution of Give for More Life retail partnerships by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Maintain strong partner engagement for the Cause Partnerships team through regular communication and tailored stewardship touchpoints.
  • Ensure all partner activations, marketing assets, and campaign elements are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Support the Senior Director in managing and growing the Retail Advisory Committee and other key volunteers. 

Strategic Support 

  • Work in partnership with the Cause Partnerships Directors to identify and advance opportunities to deepen or expand existing partnerships. 
  • Assist in the development of P2P partnership plans, presentations, and proposals informed by partner objectives, CSR trends, and Blood Cancer United priorities. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Communications, Mission, Corporate Partnerships, and regional campaign teams to execute seamless partnership experiences.
  • Uphold strong internal communication and project management to ensure accountability and consistent progress on partner deliverables. 

Operational Excellence 

  • Track all partnership activity, performance metrics, revenue generation, and partner communications within Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular account reports, impact summaries, and partnership performance dashboards.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and quarterly reporting by maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date data and projections for assigned accounts.
  • Manage contracts, invoicing processes, and compliance workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution of partnership agreements. 

Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated success managing corporate accounts or activations, ideally with six‑figure value or higher.
  • Strong understanding cause marketing and retail campaigns
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation creation and delivery.
  • Adept at relationship management, problem solving, and solution‑oriented execution.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong collaborator who builds rapport across internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to travel for key partner meetings, events, or activations as needed.

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $65K to $78K. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Blood Cancer United we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
