About the opportunity

Ironmark is looking for an Account Manager to support our Automotive group.

This role sits at the center of the customer relationship and the work we deliver. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, coordinate print and digital marketing campaigns, manage projects from initiation through delivery, and work closely with customers, vendors, sales partners, and internal teams to keep work accurate, on schedule, and moving forward.

This is much more than a relationship-management role. You’ll need to understand the details behind the work: specifications, estimates, files, proofs, timelines, production requirements, workflows, and systems. At the same time, you’ll be expected to understand your customers’ businesses well enough to spot opportunities, solve problems, and help grow the relationship.

The right person is highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. You bring a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy, communicate clearly, and take real ownership of the customer experience.

What you’ll do

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and issues, providing prompt and effective resolution.
  • Assist in escalating and resolving complex client concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, projects, and account activity.

Project & Production Management

  • Manage projects through the complete production lifecycle, from project initiation through final delivery.
  • Coordinate print and digital marketing campaigns to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather project specifications and requirements.
  • Review project estimates, customer files, proofs, and specifications to ensure accuracy before production.
  • Monitor project timelines and communicate status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with production, fulfillment, creative, data, and technology teams to ensure successful project execution.

Account Growth & Business Development

  • Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional products and services.
  • Support sales initiatives by identifying customer needs and generating qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives to support account growth and customer retention.
  • Ensure clients are informed about available solutions that can help achieve their business objectives.

Vendor & Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate with vendors and production partners to ensure quality, pricing, and delivery expectations are met.
  • Assist with client onboarding, account setup, and workflow implementation.
  • Ensure all project information is complete, accurate, and properly communicated to internal teams.

Technology & Process Management

  • Utilize ERP, project management, CRM, and workflow systems to manage client accounts, production schedules, and project performance.
  • Leverage technology to improve efficiency, reporting, client communication, and operational visibility.
  • Support process improvements and adoption of new technologies that enhance client and team performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within organizational systems.

What you bring

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project-management ability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines at the same time.
  • A sense of urgency and the judgment to know what needs attention first.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • The ability to adapt when priorities change or interruptions occur.
  • A positive, collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, project-management software, CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and other business applications.

Education and experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Printing Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Service, Project Management, Print Production, Marketing Services, or a related field.
