The Admissions Specialist is responsible for converting inquiries into scheduled admissions and maintaining communication between the organization, referral sources, patients, and families. They review prospective admissions against criteria and coordinate the documentation process for multiple facilities.

Expand service lines by developing and maintaining referral relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Manage the admissions process and conduct community outreach to educate potential clients and partners on facility services.

Expand lines of service by developing and retaining referrals from physicians and other key non-physician sources. Coordinate with clinical teams and discharge planners to manage the admissions process and educate the community on facility services.

Manage patient referrals and insurance benefit verifications for acute behavioral health facilities. Coordinate admissions, pre-authorizations, and intake processes while documenting all activities in Salesforce.
