Match your resume skills with our AI powered skill match!
You will own the end-to-end YouTube operating system, from content ideation and packaging to production coordination and performance analysis. Your goal is to scale the channel to three high-quality videos per week while driving qualified audience actions and lead generation.
We are hiring a hands-on YouTube strategist and channel lead to own Eric Siu's long-form content system across AI, marketing, entrepreneurship, and business. Include “Editing is cool” in the subject line. Otherwise, your application will be disqualified.
You will turn current ideas, X posts, podcasts, and weekly priorities into strong video angles, outlines, titles, thumbnail directions, and a reliable production pipeline. You will coordinate editors, thumbnail designers, researchers, and publishing support through completion.
This is not an advisory role. You own the channel loop from idea selection through packaging, production, publishing recommendation, measurement, and the next decision.
Single Grain is a revenue marketing agency. We build pipeline-focused systems that compound, not campaigns that expire. We have helped more than 500 companies, from venture-backed startups to the Fortune 500, drive measurable growth.
Eric Siu hosts the Leveling Up podcast and co-hosts Marketing School with Neil Patel. The content reaches marketers, founders, and operators across YouTube, podcasts, email, and social platforms.
We operate as an AI-native team. Every role uses AI to improve speed, quality, judgment, and leverage. AI output still requires strong human taste and quality control.
Build and run a long-form YouTube operating system that publishes up to three strong videos per week, improves packaging and retention, and creates qualified audience action.
Primary KPI: improve qualified YouTube actions from the first-30-day baseline while maintaining a reliable production cadence. Supporting metrics include impressions, click-through rate, first-30-second retention, average percentage viewed, qualified CTA actions, and attributed leads.
Audit the channel, archive, audience, offer paths, analytics, and production workflow.
Build a rolling topic and packaging pipeline from Eric's current ideas and source material.
Produce at least three title and thumbnail routes for each approved video.
Turn selected topics into practical outlines without requiring Eric to write scripts.
Coordinate researchers, editors, thumbnail designers, and publishing support through delivery.
Run documented packaging and content tests and use the results to improve the next batch.
Connect each content cluster to a relevant lead path instead of optimizing for views alone.
Lead the weekly channel review and maintain a four-week forward pipeline.
Build AI-assisted research, packaging, outlining, briefing, and analysis workflows with strong human QA.
Document what to scale, stop, or change.
In 30 days, you have completed the audit, set the baseline, built the first rolling pipeline, and established clear owners and deadlines.
By 60 days, the team can publish up to three strong long-form videos per week, every approved video has multiple packaging routes, and tests produce useful learning.
By 90 days, you own the full channel system with minimal handholding and can show measurable improvement in packaging, retention, production reliability, or qualified lead actions.
Recent channel strategy work for B2B, AI, SaaS, business, entrepreneur, marketing, finance, or expert-led creators.
Strong, current title and thumbnail examples with the thinking and result behind them.
Evidence that you turned rough founder ideas into angles, outlines, and published videos.
End-to-end ownership of a production team, deadlines, approvals, and quality control.
One quantified result tied to qualified audience growth, email, booked calls, pipeline, sales, revenue, or another business outcome.
A concrete AI-assisted workflow and the judgment to reject weak output.
High agency: you define the path, solve workflow problems, test ideas, and close the loop.
A consultant who gives feedback and leaves execution to someone else.
A project coordinator who cannot make packaging or content decisions.
A thumbnail-only, SEO-only, or analytics-only role.
A views-only role that ignores audience quality and lead paths.
A role that waits for Eric to supply finished scripts and manage the team.
Application and evidence review.
A focused screen against the role outcomes.
A paid strategy exercise based on one real topic: three title and thumbnail routes, one recommended angle, a practical outline, CTA path, and production handoff.
A live review of your choices, tradeoffs, evidence, and iteration.
References and final decision.
The paid exercise is timeboxed and will not be used as unpaid production work.
This is a fully remote, part-time contractor role. Applicants must state their weekly capacity, available working hours, start date, and compensation expectations.
Include two recent relevant channels or videos, your exact role, the packaging or strategic decisions you owned, your AI workflow, weekly scope, availability, pricing or compensation expectations, and one quantified business outcome.
