This role focuses on shaping executive and product narratives through visually compelling presentation design, storytelling systems, and custom creative development. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and exceptional visual craftsperson — able to translate complex business concepts and executive messaging into polished, world-class visual experiences. Working closely with the Principal of Creative Strategy and executive stakeholders, this role will lead the visual development of keynote presentations, executive communications, sales narratives, and other high-visibility business initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong art direction, storytelling, and presentation design expertise, with deep proficiency in Figma and PowerPoint. They are energized by solving complex communication challenges, refining executive-level presentations under tight timelines, and mentoring others in presentation storytelling and visual communication best practices.
Responsibilities
Executive & Product Narrative Development
- Partner closely with the Principal of Creative Strategy, executive stakeholders, product marketing, and leadership teams to build compelling executive and product narratives for keynotes, customer presentations, internal communications, board-level materials, and strategic business initiatives.
- Translate complex business strategies, product concepts, and executive messaging into visually compelling narratives, presentation structures, and audience-focused storytelling experiences.
- Collaborate in keynote and narrative planning sessions, contributing strategic visual thinking, concept development, and storytelling frameworks.
Presentation Design & Visual Craft
- Design and produce polished executive-level PowerPoint presentations, creating custom visuals, diagrams, and supporting graphics in Figma while rapidly evolving rough concepts into refined storytelling assets.
- Ensure presentation outputs are production-ready, executive-level, and aligned to the Genesys brand system.
- Solve for presentation refinement and last-minute polish needs across leadership and business units with speed, flexibility, and strong judgment.
Creative Direction & Brand Stewardship
- Apply strong art direction principles to presentation design, ensuring visual consistency, modern aesthetics, and high-quality execution.
- Maintain and evolve scalable presentation systems, templates, visual frameworks, and reusable assets that improve consistency and enablement across teams.
- Ensure all presentation materials align to the Genesys brand system while balancing visual excellence, messaging clarity, and business impact.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work cross-functionally with teams across marketing, product marketing, executive communications, sales, events, and corporate leadership.
- Mentor and guide other creative team members in presentation storytelling, PowerPoint best practices, visual hierarchy, and executive communication design.
- Present creative rationale clearly and provide thoughtful feedback that strengthens presentation storytelling and design quality across teams.
- Contribute positively to team culture through collaboration, adaptability, professionalism, and proactive communication.
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail, organization, and responsiveness.
- Operate effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and executive timelines.
- Partner closely with the Creative Operations and Project Management team to manage timelines, stakeholder communication, and workflow coordination across high-priority initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve presentation workflows, design systems, and creative enablement resources across the organization.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of professional visual design, presentation design, art direction, or brand communication experience in-house or agency-side.
- Ability to travel and join executive and vendors teams for on-site rehearsals of company mainstage events, like Inspire and Xperience.
- Engaged and energized by collaborating digitally on a fully remote creative team.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create highly polished, executive-ready presentations.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, as most relevant.
- Demonstrated experience translating complex business, technical, or product topics into clear and visually engaging communication materials.
- Strong portfolio showcasing presentation design, executive communications, visual narrative development, and high-quality design craft.
- Exceptional visual design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, hierarchy, pacing, and storytelling.
- Experience partnering directly with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams, balancing strategic storytelling with hands-on execution.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, trust, and confidentiality.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and executive timelines.
- Experience with project management teams and collaboration tools such as Asana.
Bonus Qualifications

- Motion graphics, presentation animation, or illustration experience.
- Experience building scalable presentation systems, templates, or creative enablement resources.
- Familiarity with DAM systems such as Bynder.
