Technical Sales Manager - Hand Protection

PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Technical Sales Manager based in Hungary & Romania. Portwest is one of the fastest growing workwear companies in the world currently employing over 6,000 staff worldwide, with customer service staff in over 130+ countries and 11 Global warehouses in UK, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain, UAE, USA and Australia. We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities. 


Job Summary:

As a Technical Sales Manager based in Hungary & Romania, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales of Portwest Hand Protection within the specified regions. Reporting into the Country Sales Manager(s), you will leverage your expertise in Hand Protection to engage with end-users and expand Portwest's market presence in the designated territories.

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive growth and increase sales of Gloves in your region through your technical expertise and customer facing experience.
• Work closely with your Country Sales Manager to develop a strategy and market plan to maximise opportunities and drive the growth of Gloves in your region.
• Identify opportunities to grow Portwest Hand Protection at both distributor & end-user level.
• Provide technical expertise and advice to Portwest distributors, prospects, and end-users and cultivate strong, long-term business relationships with same
• Accompany Portwest distributors on joint sales calls to end-users to support them through your technical knowledge & expertise in Hand Protection
• Deliver technical Hand Protection training to Portwest distributors, prospects, and end-users both digitally and in-person.
• Deliver technical Hand Protection training to Portwest sales team and support them to increase sales of Hand Protection in their area as well as facilitating training for other Portwest employees who are stakeholders in Hand Protection
• Identify potential gaps with the Portwest Gloves and work with the Product Team to help develop and enhance the Hand Protection offer.
• Work with Product & Marketing team to advise on sales content creation to help drive the growth of Gloves.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 years of experience in selling Gloves or/and Workwear or/and PPE
• Experience in sales, preferably representing a distributor.
• Background in technical sales is essential.
• Possession of a clean driving licence and willingness to travel within the designated region.
• Fluent / Intermediate English
• We are looking for candidates living in Hungary
