Technical Account Manager

We're seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our Process Cleaning Solutions team, supporting some of Victoria's largest dairy and food manufacturing customers, based in Northern Victoria. This role offers the opportunity to partner with major producers, solve technical challenges and drive commercial growth across a well-established customer portfolio.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in dairy, food, beverage or industrial chemicals who enjoys being customer-facing and wants to build long-term relationships while identifying opportunities for growth.

This role can be based anywhere in Victoria, with Melbourne and South East Victoria locations particularly well suited. Regular customer travel forms part of the role.

About your role

This role sits at the intersection of technical consulting, account management and business development.

You'll be responsible for managing customer relationships, supporting technical service delivery and identifying opportunities to grow revenue and profitability. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll work closely with customers to understand their operations, troubleshoot challenges and deliver solutions that create long-term value.

You'll also help drive business growth through new product opportunities, customer engagement and lead generation across existing and prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of dairy and food manufacturing customers.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert across dairy cleaning and production process applications.
• Support technical service teams with troubleshooting, product trials and customer projects.
• Develop strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Generate leads through customer engagement, site visits and market activity.
• Contribute to tenders, proposals, pricing submissions and contract discussions.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain and Product Management teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience within dairy, food, beverage, chemicals or related manufacturing industries.
• Technical qualifications or industry experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in account management, sales, technical service or customer-facing roles.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to business development and identifying growth opportunities.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and engage with customers at multiple levels.

Highly regarded:

• Dairy processing or food manufacturing knowledge.
• Project management or leadership experience.
• Experience supporting technical cleaning or production process applications.
