Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture ongoing relationships with target colleges, universities, career services offices, student clubs, and other organizations to support early-career or veteran transition hiring efforts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner schools, maintaining regular communication and acting as the face of Salute's employer brand on campus visits.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate recruiting events, including career fairs, information sessions, campus interviews, employer panels, and virtual recruiting events.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics: registration, scheduling, staffing (recruiters and hiring managers), venue and room coordination, and day-of execution.
  • Locate, order, and manage inventory of marketing and event materials (banners, swag, signage, brochures, giveaways) and coordinate shipping and delivery to event sites, ensuring materials arrive on time and within budget.
  • Travel to events and career fairs as needed to represent Salute, oversee event setup/teardown, and support the on-site recruiting team.
  • Track and report success metrics for each event and partnership, including attendance, applications, interviews, offers, hires made, and cost-per-hire, to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update a shared calendar and tracker of all campus events, partnership touchpoints, and key university contacts.
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align event strategy with open requisitions and hiring plans.
  • Support employer branding efforts by coordinating social media content, event photography, and campus marketing materials with the Marketing team.
  • Manage event budgets, process invoices, and reconcile expenses related to travel, materials, and event sponsorships alongside leadership.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and evaluate the performance of existing partnerships to inform where to expand or scale back investment.
  • Support other Talent initiatives and projects as needed, including internship program coordination and general recruiting operations support.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience with early careers or veteran transition programs, military affiliated organizations, preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly (approximately 25–40%), including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends during peak recruiting seasons.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple events and partnerships simultaneously against fixed deadlines.
  • Comfort analyzing and reporting on data; experience tracking recruiting or event metrics (e.g., ATS data, spreadsheets, dashboards) preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Salute professionally to students, faculty, and career services staff.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to transport event materials as needed; ability to lift and carry event supplies (up to approximately 30 lbs).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and event management or CRM tools is a plus.
