Fractional Recruiter - Dental Industry Experience Preferred

Deep End Talent Strategies is a full-service HR consulting firm that partners with organizations on recruiting, HR strategy, employee relations, compensation, and other people-related needs. Recruiting is a significant part of our work, and one of our dental industry clients has enough ongoing hiring activity that we are looking to add a fractional recruiter to our team who will work primarily on their account.

This is an ongoing 1099 contractor opportunity, generally ranging from approximately 30-40 hours per week depending on hiring volume and contractor availability. There may also be opportunities to support recruiting for other Deep End clients over time.

What You’ll Do

You’ll manage the early stages of the recruiting process, with a particular focus on proactively finding candidates with specialized dental laboratory or restorative dental experience.

Responsibilities will include:

• Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn and other appropriate channels
• Identifying candidates with experience in dental labs and restorative dentistry, including implants, crowns, and bridges
• Seeking candidates with experience in digital dentistry and scanning technologies
• Reviewing resumes and applications for relevant experience
• Conducting first-round candidate interviews via recorded video calls
• Evaluating candidates and providing concise, thoughtful recommendations to the hiring team
• Presenting qualified candidates to the hiring manager
• Managing candidate communication and follow-up throughout the recruiting process
• Maintaining accurate candidate records and activity within BreezyHR
• Supporting additional Deep End recruiting projects as needs and availability allow

What We’re Looking For

This role requires someone who is comfortable doing more than reviewing inbound applications. Much of the value you’ll bring will come from proactively identifying and engaging candidates with fairly specialized experience.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has recruiting, sourcing, talent acquisition, or closely related experience
• Is comfortable conducting proactive candidate outreach
• Can quickly understand specialized roles and distinguish relevant experience from adjacent experience
• Is organized and dependable with candidate follow-up
• Communicates professionally and warmly with candidates and clients
• Has excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Is comfortable conducting recorded video interviews
• Can work independently while keeping the Deep End team informed of progress, challenges, and hiring-market feedback

Experience recruiting in dental, healthcare, medical device, laboratory, manufacturing, or other specialized technical environments would be particularly helpful, but strong sourcing ability and curiosity are equally important.

Compensation & Engagement

This is an independent contractor (1099) role. The rate is $25- $35/hour, with weekly direct pay (no third-party service taking fees off the top). This is a remote role within the US, Eastern or Central time zones preferred. We estimate 30-40 hours per week indefinitely based on client needs and contractor performance. The contractor will use our Microsoft ecosystem with a Deep End branded email but will supply their own computer.

We are looking for someone who would enjoy becoming a consistent part of the Deep End team rather than simply taking on a short-term recruiting project. Please note we are a search firm, so outreach by other search firms is redundant, and we are not in a position to partner with other firms on this effort. Individuals only, please.
