How you can make a difference

As an Endpoint Engineer specializing in JAMF, you will play a critical role in managing and securing Apple devices within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient management, configuration, and optimization of endpoints using JAMF Pro. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and implement solutions to enhance the end-user experience while maintaining security and compliance.

What you'll be doing

• JAMF Configuration and Management:

  • Develop and maintain JAMF configurations, policies, and procedures to efficiently manage endpoints.
  • Implement best practices for deploying and managing Apple devices using JAMF Pro.
  • Scripting using PowerShell or other scripting languages to automate tasks and optimize JAMF operations.

• Endpoint Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure endpoints are secure, compliant, and adhere to organizational policies.
  • Monitor and address security vulnerabilities, patches, and updates.
  • Collaborate with information security colleagues to maintain a robust security posture.

• Technical Support:

  • Provide advanced IT support to end-users, including C-level executives and VIPs.
  • Troubleshoot complex network and systems issues using sophisticated diagnostic techniques and tools.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, JAMF updates, and Apple technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

What you will need to be successful

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• JAMF Pro certification is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) for automation.
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM/Intune is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

This is a remote position.

Salary Range $72000.00 To $111000.00 / year Benefits & Perks

The compensation range describes the typical minimum or maximum base pay range for this position. The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
