Match your resume skills with our AI powered skill match!
You will own and drive the storefront experience and conversion rate optimization roadmap across multiple global brands. This involves managing cross-functional initiatives, executing onsite testing programs, and ensuring consistent performance and quality across various platforms.
What you will own
Targets are agreed by brand at the start of each financial year with the eCommerce and brand leads. Baselines are set in your first quarter.
Revenue and conversion
Storefront conversion rate. Improve visit to cart and cart to purchase across priority funnels for each brand.
Cross sell and attach rate. Grow attach of adjacent products at cart, checkout and in the control panel, measured by attach rate and revenue per visit.
Average order value and revenue per session. Own the onsite levers that move both, including merchandising, pricing presentation, bundling and upgrade paths.
Experience and performance
Site performance. Page load and Core Web Vitals on key templates, with particular attention to mobile.
Experience quality. Reduction in onsite defects reaching production, faster time to resolution on storefront bugs, improved task success and friction scores from behavioral and qualitative research.
Consistency across brands. A shared component and experience standard applied across the portfolio, so that a fix or a win on one brand can be reused rather than rebuilt.
Delivery and process
Experimentation velocity. An agreed number of tests live per quarter, each with a documented hypothesis, a clean readout and a decision logged, whether the test wins or loses.
Roadmap delivery. Percentage of committed roadmap delivered in the quarter, and cycle time from PRD to live.
Delivery against Strategi Project. Own and deliver platform support where applicable for strategic global projects such as brand migrations and consolidations
A day in the life of our Storefront and Conversion Manager
Core deliverables
Build, maintain and track the storefront and control panel roadmap across Crazy Domains, Vodien, BigRock and the Digipac brands, keeping it continuously aligned with business strategy and with the commercial priorities of each brand.
Manage the execution of storefront and customer panel driven marketing, UX and product initiatives from idea through to live.
Run a continuous onsite testing program, using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely and other forms of customer insight, and turn what you learn into a prioritized backlog rather than a folder of results.
Create PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria, and build wireframes and high level mockups in Figma alongside our Design team to define desired outcomes.
Make and manage day to day content, layout and campaign updates on our WordPress properties, and scope and brief larger changes to engineering for our AEM and in-house stacks.
Lead storefront redesign and rebranding work as it comes up, covering page templates, navigation, product and pricing pages, cart and checkout.
Worl closely with storefront QA and pre release teams, so that what goes live matches what was specified and does not quietly break something else.
Actively participate in and represent marketing in weekly project grooming, sprint planning and release readiness in Jira.
Continuously measure and report key storefront metrics including conversion rate, click and engagement metrics, funnel drop off and load time.
Stakeholder management
Proactively manage all relevant stakeholders including senior management, building consensus and commitment to project outcomes.
Work with brand and marketing leads across the portfolio to sequence competing requests into a single roadmap, and be comfortable explaining why something is not being built this quarter.
Work collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders and in close conjunction with design and engineering teams to align on roadmaps and deliverables across all three stacks.
Engage and cultivate relationships with partners across the business, gain insight and adopt best practices.
Partner closely with Analytics and BI teams to evolve our understanding of performance across eCommerce.
Collaborate with marketing, sales and support teams on go to market planning for products and campaigns.
Close the loop with customer support and care teams, using what they hear every day as a source of onsite improvements.
Data and analysis
Monitor, report and find ways to improve platform performance across brands and funnel steps.
Work with the BI team to build visibility for key platform metrics, including dashboards that let brand teams self serve.
Investigate anomalies and conversion drops quickly, and separate a tracking problem from a real experience problem.
Analyze data from internal and external sources to develop strategies and define platform objectives.
Leverage data and insight to continually optimize and maximize the value of our platform and processes.
Benchmark our storefronts against competitors and against good practice outside our category.
What you will need to succeed
Five or more years in eCommerce, conversion rate optimization, digital product or web experience roles, ideally across multiple brands or markets.
A demonstrable track record of moving conversion rate, attach rate or average order value, with the ability to talk through how you did it and what you learned when it did not work.
A keen eye for good design and a strong understanding of user experience.
A customer first mindset and the ability to apply design thinking principles.
Data driven, but able to make a judgement call when the data is thin or the sample is small.
Strong working knowledge of tracking customer journeys, event and tag setup, and the ability to analyze and act on what you see.
Hands on experience with Figma and Jira. Both are everyday tools in this role, not occasional ones.
Comfortable working directly in AEM/WordPress (or have the willingness to learn this). You should be able to make and QA basic content, layout and template updates yourself without waiting in a development queue. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or a similar enterprise CMS is a strong advantage.
A working understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Enough to read a page, spot what is wrong, estimate effort and hold a credible conversation with engineers. You will not be asked to ship production code.
Experience with analytics and experimentation tooling such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely and similar.
Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
Attention to detail, comfort with multitasking, and a customer service focus.
Independent thinking, and not being afraid to suggest new ideas.
Experience working in an agile organization or with cross functional teams.
Ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Driven by delivery, delivering on time and to a high standard.
Nice to have
Experience in domains, hosting, SaaS or subscription businesses.
Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and how onsite changes affect organic performance.
Exposure to Adobe Analytics or Adobe Target.
Working knowledge of accessibility standards and page speed optimization.
Experience working across multiple time zones and distributed teams.
What success looks like
First 90 days. You know our stacks, our funnels and our numbers. You have audited the storefronts across brands, established a clean baseline for conversion, attach and performance, and shipped a first set of quick wins.
First six months. A prioritized storefront roadmap is agreed with brand and engineering leads, a regular testing cadence is running, and reporting is in place that everyone trusts and uses.
First twelve months. Measurable improvement against your conversion, attach and performance targets, a shared experience standard applied across brands, and a healthy backlog of tested, evidenced ideas ready for the following year.
