The Solution Enterprise Consultant ANZ is a senior pre-sales technical expert responsible for demonstrating, architecting, and validating Omilia's conversational AI platform for enterprise prospects across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and where required across APAC. The role partners closely with Enterprise Account Executives covering the ANZ region to win complex deals by deeply understanding customer requirements and designing compelling, technically rigorous solutions. The role is also responsible for ensuring a smooth handover from sales to delivery and supporting the delivery team.
Accountabilities
- Own the technical pre-sales process for assigned enterprise opportunities in ANZ, from discovery through proof-of-concept and proposal.
- Accountable for the technical quality and accuracy of all solution designs, demonstrations, and proposals presented to ANZ enterprise prospects.
- Responsible for building trusted technical advisor relationships with prospective client technical and business stakeholders across the ANZ region.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally — translating prospect technical requirements into product feedback for Engineering and Product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery with ANZ enterprise prospects to understand their contact centre architecture, integration landscape, and conversational AI requirements.
- Design and deliver customised demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and solution prototypes for ANZ opportunities.
- Develop technical sections of RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and SOW documents.
- Build and maintain demo environments, scripts, and technical assets for the pre-sales library.
- Partner with ANZ Account Executives to develop win strategies and identify technical champions within prospect accounts.
- Respond to technical due diligence, security questionnaires, and architecture reviews from prospects.
- Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on ANZ enterprise prospect requirements and competitive gaps.
- Support customer-facing events, webinars, and industry conferences with technical presentations.
- Hand over from sales to deployment and support the delivery team
Requirements
Required:
- 5–8 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting for enterprise SaaS or AI platforms.
- Deep familiarity with contact centre technology, CCaaS platforms (Genesys, Avaya, NICE, Cisco, etc.), and telephony architecture.
- Experience with conversational AI, NLU/NLP, IVR, or voice automation technologies.
- Ability to prototype and demonstrate solutions in a live technical environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns (APIs, REST, SIP, WebRTC).
- Excellent presentation and technical communication skills — able to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Consultative mindset — listens first, then designs solutions.
- Collaborative partner to Sales and capable of navigating complex internal and external stakeholder dynamics.
- Curious and self-driven — keeps pace with rapidly evolving AI capabilities.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and complex, long-cycle enterprise sales environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages a strong advantage.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience supporting enterprise sales cycles in Australia and/or New Zealand.
- Hands-on experience with major CCaaS platforms such as AWS Connect, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, or RingCentral.
- Familiarity with Omilia's platform or competing conversational AI platforms.
- Domain expertise in a vertical such as Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Healthcare, or Telco.
