Senior QA Test Automation Engineer - REMOTE

Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web and API layers using Selenium with Java and TestNG. Automate functional, regression, and smoke test cases across insurance applications (Policy, Billing, Claims, Portals). Develop data-driven and modular test scripts, ensuring maintainability and scalability. Perform API automation using Rest Assured or similar frameworks. Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to implement shift-left testing in Agile sprints. Contribute to performance, security, and accessibility testing efforts as needed. Analyze automation test failures and drive root cause analysis to ensure stability. Ensure traceability and reporting through Jira and Confluence. Active participation in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, retrospectives). Ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and in teams. Ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
